Liked that it works just take it to a local Subaru dealership have your proof of owner ship of the car and they will cut the key I didn't get charged for it.

Cheaper than the dealer
Ended up having the dealer cut this key by code. Works perfectly.

My keys work again!
Excellent keys! Factory oem key replacements. Took them to the Subaru dealer and gave them some digits from my vin. They cut them nice and quick. I’ve owned my Subaru for many years, bought it second hand and could never unlock the hatch or glovebox. Now I can! It’s so awesome and convinient to have my locks back.Ace charges $25 a key however they copy your original. If you take this key to a dealer, they’ll cut it as if if we’re a new key that came with your car. Ace was more expensive too.A note to mention, normal keys from Lowe’s or Home Depot won’t work in the ignition, only a replacement key like this will.Excellent purchase well well worth it!

Solid key
I got this for my 05 Subaru. Car was amazing, of course you should always have a spare key and this one was easily cut and worked just fine. I like how it didn’t look cheap and felt good in my hand.

Worked for 2006 Impreza Outback Sport
Needed a spare key, and some of the Imprezas of this era (the WRXs and 2.5RS) require an expensive chip key, but mine doesn't. It is exactly the factory key that came with the car, and I needed a spare. As a bonus, the local Ace Hardware cut the key for free for me since I supplied the blank! Works perfect!

Great replacement or duplicate
The dealer can cut them for you by the vin. My dealer only charged for the cut which was really reasonable.
