Very good quality
I used this sword for a Viking Wedding and was very happy with the quality, I would recommend this if anyone is looking for a sturdy beautiful sword.

Great sword for someone on a budget
Very solid construction, balance is a little off but not terrible. A little grinding and the blade will be ready to go. The sheath is extremely well made. Excellent buy for the money

Just buy it if it fits your needs
As someone who understands the difference between a 200.00 sword vs a 1500.00 sword and has many of the latter let me explain.Ignore the reviews and ignore the description as here is what you get.A heavy duty sword that looks the part. Scabbard is nice for what it is and looks killer for the price. Now what isn't it.100% Period correct, 100% well balanced and meticulously hand crafted by an expert blacksmith nor recommendations to use it in staged combat. But guess what you aren't getting for 200.00? Any of the above.Buy it, strap it on your waist and go rule the faires or hang it from your wall and pray to Odin. But don't buy it with the expectations of getting that 1500.00 sword you saw for 200.00

It has good handling
So to start i don't have a great understanding of swords i do have knowledge but nothing compared to other people but so far the sword for me has the heft to it for me and came fairly sharp i am enjoying alot at the moment haven't had to much time to test but i will say for almost 300 dollars this sword is a great starter point for getting into the more expensive side of sword buying most of my swords prior to this were 100 dollar swords decent enough could hold up if needed however this sword is much higher quality compared to them so if your someone who enjoys a heavy sword and a fairly sharpened blade with a nice sheath hilt & pommel this would be a good buy in my book

Handles like a crowbar
It has a nice antiqued look, and it seems to be solidly built. It seems well tempered and the fittings are all tight etc, no rattles or anything like that. However, it feels extremely unbalanced and unwieldy. It has no discernable distal taper. The crossguard and pommel have very sharp edges, making handling very difficult without gloves. The grip wrapping is uneven and visibly glued. It's not terrible as a wall hanger or a beater, but if you're a sword collector looking for a nice viking era sword there are much better options in basically the same price point.

Blade is loose at the hilt and definitely NOT balanced
The media could not be loaded. OK so let’s just start off saying that we should always beware of buying certain products off of Amazon. suppose hand for weapon should be one. When I received my package a few days ago, I immediately noticed that the blade was loose at the hilt. Taking a few swings with it I could definitely hear a tapping sound with every swing and every shake of the pummel. Thankfully, the blade didn’t completely detach and fly out. Also, this sword is not balanced at all. The balance point of this weapon is about 6 to 7 inches away from the hill, which makes it very uncomfortable to hold. I will give it points in it being aesthetically pleasing. There were no marks on the blade itself. The scabbard in my opinion is well-made and doesn’t look cheap to the eye. The hilt finish looks just as nice as advertised and so does the pummel. If you were looking for a training sword or just for practical use I would not recommend this. I did not have high hopes for a sword that cost $200 so you get what you pay for honestly. Before I send it back I have reached out to a local sword to see if he could possibly correct these mistakes for a reasonable price. Unfortunately, I will not be a repeat customer, but I do hope the company takes this constructive criticism to heart and correct these flaws. if you just want something that looks nice on the wall then by all means, spend the 200.
