I apparently suck at tying knots. That’s why I am the proud owner of two of these! LOLYou can find one at the bottom of our lake. I expect it is still in very good condition, because it is very well-made and a great bargain for the money. If you want a free one, and have diving gear, I can tell you where to get one!

I bought this to anchor to tandem kayaks so our kids can get out and swim. It worked great in the lake we were in to hold us from drifting.

After losing an anchor towards the end of boating season, my family was desperate to get something to hold our boat securely in place. All the local shops were sold out, so we went to amazon. We ordered this anchor, and it came in a timely manner. Small but sturdy, we tied it up and tossed it in the water. It held the boat in place, so we were satisfied.

Excellent anchor. Purchased with the suggested chain and rope, all worked excellent together. 10lbs is perfect for rocky lake in my inflatable boat with 1 other adult on board.

I live in the suburbs of L.A., so there aren't a whole lot of stores selling boat anchors in my neck of the woods. Still, I was a little hesitant to order a boat anchor from Amazon, not knowing exactly what the size and quality was going to be. My fears were assuaged, however, when the package arrived promptly at my doorstep with a shiny new vinyl covered anchor inside. This thing can hold my 11-foot inflatable with 3 passengers, a motor, and a heavy battery box without issue. In fact, it's probably overkill. If this thing gets caught, be prepared to tug like your life depended on it. I'm not going to deduct a star for that, though, considering it's just doing what it's supposed to do. Just remember to get some really sturdy rope and chain or you might end up leaving it behind on your next trip.

What can I say, it is an anchor. It works.... The coating is staying on and it works great.
