I just got this book and another one for my grandsons, (6 and 8) who are really enjoying History this year and they wanted a History book we could read. The pictures are like 3-D, there seems to be a wealth of information in it, I know they are going to really like them. We read a lot but I think we will be reading even more!

What a great book, so full of info. Great illustrations and engaging text. It will show you the history of the world in a great format.

I bought this book after carefully researching the plethora of options on Amazon so I knew it would be incredible. It certainly lived up to its expectations. And whenever I leave it out on a coffee table anywhere in the house, it is sure to be picked up by any of our guests.

This book is all it says it is. Got this for my daughter who loves geography and history. It ended up being interesting to me and my husband too. It’s really good quality, has gorgeous imagery and great educational material.

This book makes history fun and easy (OK, easier) to understand the context of different events, different places and different dates. The concept of a map with various bits of information with different dates but related by subject is astonishingly simple. The entire book consists of these maps covering various subjects of civilization around the world. It covers Asian and African history as much as the usual European history. This book is a keeper to read again & again, plus its a fun book you can read for 15 min. at a time and come back to it again later. Maps/chapters are in logical order of civilization, but you can skip around with no loss of interest or comprehension. I'm really glad I got this fun read.

This book is fascinating! I love how it gives an overview of various points in history on top of the geographical location. I bought this as a reference tool for my children, but I have also enjoyed looking through it. The quality of the binding and paper means I expect this book to last for many years.
