While the product is good, it did not somehow service our purpose. Currently, we have construction work as well as metro work going on near our place. So the sound level is dimmed a bit.

I just got the product. Of course, i never expected something alone to block 100% noise. Honeywell ear plugs is very soft & you will forget about it after inserting it. Butttt........ But Even after inserting fully inside the Ear canal with proper Technique it just suppresses the noise upto 50%. Also they were very hard to remove & i kinda had earache after use. I am someone who has been using hearing protectors since 2 years. I have tried different kind of methods to block the noise. There is one advantage of honeywell foam plugs is that you can easily put On ear headband headphones which will give you around 99% noise suppression. I still would prefer classic orange 3M Foam earplugs any day which alone reduces upto 70% of noise after inserting with proper technique. I just wanted to try something from honeywell Brand. Overall 3 star item. These earplugs need to be little harder than this, just a bit harder than the present one & only then & then it might be able to compete with traditional orange 3M foam earplugs for noise suppression. Also Expensive item doesn't mean better quality.

I originally bought it because the next door neighbor started some home renovation project during the pandemic and I wanted to block the noise.It's not effective at all with drilling noises or anything loud + high pitched.BUTOn a regular day, without additional stressful locational noise , this is absolutely wonderful. It completely blocks the car sounds,random dogs barking, almost all the variety of irritating sounds that distract a light sleeper. This has been an absolute blessing as far as sleeping through the night.I have tried the silicon ones, they weren't fitting me well. These ones are a lot softer and once you squish them, they expand in the ear , it's a little strange at first but you get used to it. The cord is also super useful in making sure they are not seperated and also easy to hang it up.Even though it did not fit my original purchase requirement, it does a good job of what it's supposed to do.
