Excellent product to clear out infant's boogies
I didn't even know something like this existed! I use this with saline drops for my 6 monther during the dry winter months. I use the saline drops first to moisten the boogies and then these tweezers to pull it out. Be careful not to pinch baby's skin/inside nose and it may hurt when pulling out dry crusted boogies, so that is the only thing to watch out for. The product itself is made of plastic but definitely has a nice feel to it and is not flimsy. The tips/edges are rounded except for the inside where the two parts of the tweezer meets, it is flat. I was worried and thought how it could grip but its flat, not rounded on the inside tip so it works really well! The tip of the tweezers arent very big but are not very small either. I found the best time to do this was when he is down for a nap as he resists when i try to clean it otherwise. Have pulled out big boogies to help my son breathe. Its amazing the size of boogers compared to the space in their nostrils! I feel sooo satisfied hearing his breathing clear up. If you're looking for something to get the mucous out, this isn't the product though. This is more for the pieces that you can see but can't reach with your fingertips. Totally worth the few bucks and shipping was super quick! Highly recommended. Happy gold digging!

these are amazing!!
Absolutely cannot live without these! For tiny newborn noses, these are amazing!!! When operated by someone with a steady hand, you can clean baby's nose without waking them or even disturbing them. I buy these for anyone I know having a baby!! Make sure you order ahead of time because they take a while to ship from Japan, but are TOTALLY worth the wait!! Might as well order two because when you get the first one you will definitely want a backup, but then will be faced with waiting for it to ship and praying you don't lose your original one in the mean time! There is an American knock-off of this (Boogie Snatcher) that is a huge embarrassment and doesn't even work!!! Don't be tempted to get that one like I was just because it ships faster! It is made of terrible thin, squishy plastic. Go with the original Pigeon ones because the plastic material is very solid and durable. Cannot say enough good things about this product. No one likes to stuff that awful bulb syringe up a newborn's tiny nose to remove a blockage! And when the nose is too small for even mom's pinky finger to fit, these are an absolute life saver!!!!

A must have!
You have to have this! I admit it looks scary when I try to pick my son's nose with this, but it won't hurt him! Of course you have to be gentle and careful. I wouldn't know what to do if I didn't have this. I am a new mom, so one day soon after my son was born, his nose was so stuffed that he wouldn't eat. I tried the little blue bulb that the hospital gave to me and it didn't work. I was frustrated until my husband remind me that I have this and it worked like magic! It pulled out this huge booger follow by "a mile" long snout. I have been using it everyday since. Here is some tip on using it. Nobody likes their nose to be picked by another, even baby. I usually I wait till my son is in a good mood and he will just let me do it and smile after I clean his nose. When he is fussy, I gave him a pacifier and then pull it out just a tiny bit so I can use this thing. It has been great! Worth a try and you will love it.

Fast & Effective but Slow Shipping
Product is awesome. Baby hates me trying to get in his nose, but I got his boogy with these tweezers so fast he didn't have time to squirm. I have also used a highly rated American product the Oggiebear scoop thing and it was really difficult to get anything out with baby moving. The only reason for 4 stars is that I had to wait a month to receive this. The seller needs to find a better way to ship. Too bad we can't get these great Japanese products in stores here. The Pigeon nail scissors are also the bomb.

very useful baby tool
I relied on other reviews to buy this product. I have to say these are definitely going to make your life easier. When your little baby's nose is stuffed up and is having trouble feeding you will need these. I have tried the bulb syringe which doesn't work all the time and the baby hates it. I have also bought a nose aspirator, baby comfy nose, but if you have these you don't have to bother using an aspirator. I use these just about every other day to quickly and painlessly remove boogies from my two month old's nose. I am not saying that he likes it but it gets the job done pretty fast and painlessly. No need putting water drops in his nose which he hates and going through the whole routine of using an aspirator or bulb syringe. The tweezers are able to get dried boogies and usually pull the wet stuff out with it. I would say it may take about 5 seconds to get the job done. I can't say enough about how great these are. If I lost or broke them I would NEED to buy them again!

A MUST HAVE!!
My baby is 4 months old and I have used this precious little instrument at least every other day since I got it 2 months ago. I now have compiled a baby nose cleaning kit that I have found to be extremely useful:1. Little Noses saline drops - one or two drops in each nostril loosens those stubborn things and makes the rest of the job a cinch2. Baby Comfy Nose nasal aspirator - better than its competitor (can't say the name but it's the one with the blue tube) because it is so much easier to suck. My baby used to cry when I used the other one, but she seems to really prefer the degree of suction of this one.3. Bulb nasal aspirator - because of its longer tip, this is sometimes helpful for the occasional booger that is lodged farther up the nostril4. TWEEZERS - many times, sucking is just not enough. Tweezers to the rescue! I use them in conjunction with a gentle LED light that I can aim up her nostril - makes booger removal infinitely easier and more efficient.
