Wow - I wish there were more stars to give! This is the 2Ltr size, and it is not overly large and clumsy. The quality is absolutely incredible, and it actually surprised me. Very well made, high quality leather, a lot of thought went into the design of this product. The strap is loose and there are leather loops that keep it in place, but you have the freedom to slide it back and forth in the loop. The fill nozzle feels secure and is good quality, the drink spout is attached with a cord o you don't lose it. I definitely am ordering a 2nd one. Could not be happier with this product.

Mix review. I ordered to of these. 1 is fine, works perfectly... just need to train the user how to drink from these.The other bag... it has a pin prick of a hole in the bladder, that causes it to leak constantly when filled and squirt when I squeeze.I bought these for ren fair garb. Not sure about repeat purchase at that amount.

My wife and I walk 6-7 miles about every other day. I've been looking for a way to easily hydrate along the way and find water bottles a pain to carry. This was the perfect solution. I'd read several reviews of bota bags like this and the typical complaints are that: 1) they leak and 2) the water tastes like the plastic liner. After using this for a month or so now, I can say that mine hasn't suffered from either of those issues. One of the best things about it is that with a little squeeze, I can hydrate while keeping my head level and my eyes on the ground in front of me. (that, and it's kind of fun to shoot the stream into my mouth while I'm walking :-) )

This product has been wonderful. I bought it as a present for my husband he had a few leather bota wine bags before but lost them while moving and who knows how else :) it arrived early, which was great because we had planned to raft a river a day after it arrived. we took it on the trip and it did the job! It looks just like the picture and the strap works great and for us it is a good length (we are kinda short). Super happy with this bota wine bag. and serriously it hold SO MUCH WINE!! I would buy it again if we lose it somehow. We never had an issue with it tasting like a plastic bag. i highly recommend it. (just make sure to rinse it out after use, leave the lid off and air dry upside down so it doesnt get gross)

I read a lot of reviews of various water skins and this one had the least reports of leaking, unfortunately this one leaked from day one but only if I held it upside down. I ended up using some plumber's tape and it stopped most of the leaking for a bit. Then not even a week later the plastic cracked. I spoke to someone else I saw camping that had one with the red trim they said they bought from Walmart and they didn't have any issues with leaking. Not sure why so many of these have leaking issues since their only design is to hold water. I did like the size of the bag as it held a lot of water while I was camping when it did work.

Updating my review: Laken sent me an email a few days after I had received the product to make sure everything was fine. When I informed them of the leak, the offered to send me another Canteen. The replacement Canteen does not leak. Very happy with Laken's custmer service and the replacement Canteen so I'm changing my review to 4 stars. Would have been 5 if the original unit had not leaked.Original review: Bought this for my son who is attending a Mountain Man themed summer camp. He isn't going to be taking this because it has a steady leak from the cap when laying on it's side. Disappointing since I went with this one thinking you get what you pay for so the higher price would be worth it. Turns out not to be the case.
