Great product. If you have a prosthetic that's difficult to dawn give this a try. I have a BKA of the left leg and was having a very difficult time dawning my socket every morning. I bought this at the advice of my clinician and was amazed at how great it works. One little drop applied to the inside of the prosthetic socket and I'm able to dawn my socket with no effort.It is a little pricey but this bottle should last me for several years.

This makes a huge difference. Well worth the money and you only need to use a small amount. I will buy this product again.

I have been using this product on my feet and legs for maybe 15 years. It doesn’t take much of the lotion to easily get the hose or socks on. I am a very happy customer and highly recommend this product for anyone who has to use compression products.

I find this to be very helpful in putting tight-fitting articles on and helping them to fit well.

This lotion makes it easy to don and doff the liner to my prosthesis. A little dab goes a long way, so the bottle lasts a good long while. The lotion is clear and spreads easily, and by the time I remove my liner at the end of the day, it's completely absorbed. I used to use A&D ointment on my liner which made for a significant clean-up effort at the end of the day in order to clean all the grease left on my liner and on me. Now, with this lotion, everything is cleaned in a minute or two. The ointment may be a lot less expensive to use, but the Alps lotion wins hands down for ease of use and ease of cleanup. It's a real time-saver.Also, if you see Alps Skin Lotion, don't be fooled into thinking that's a different product from Alps Fitting Lotion. The label may be different, but the product is the same. I have a large bottle that I keep by my bed, and a small 4 oz bottle in my fit kit that I carry around with me. In that way, I have it whenever and wherever I might need it.

I hesitated to purchase Alps fitting lotion because of the price, but it is well worth it since you only need a drop or two for donning compression socks. The 4 oz bottle should last a long time, and it does help get firm compression socks on.
