My mother used to say that locks were to keep honest people out. If a competent thief decided to steal your car, then the chances are it would happen regardless of the security lock.I saw this in the Warehouse and decided to take a look at it (for £15) and it's pretty much OK. A determined thief (I hate to use the term "professional") could very likely get past this lock, but it makes an excellent visual deterrent and is out of the league of the scum often referred to as "joy riders." It is heavy and is well finished with a most unusual key. I noted the main criticism of the device was problems with the lock, so first off, I gave it a blast of graphite lock lubricant and worked the key a few times to distribute the graphite. Second, before using the key,, I always blow on it to remove any debris from it and check it's visually clear. In the time I've been using it, the lock has given no trouble at all.It's not as big or bulky as many of the competition, so when not on the steering wheel, it's a little easier to find a place to dump it safely. It does have an occasional habit of extending, though. In the unlocked position, the key can't be removed, so I tend to unlock, remove from steering wheel, compress it and then re-lock it. If it extends (telescopes) beyond a certain point, it locks.It's fairly heavy and would make quite a weapon, although these days it seems the innocent are not allowed to defend themselves or their property......... At one end of the device, there's a sharp tip that can either be unscrewed to remove it or covered with a plastic cap. The sharp tip can act as a life hammer and with the weight of the device, it would surely do a better job than a little hand-held device.The same device by different name(s) can be had at a range of prices and my price was about rock bottom. Overall I'm well pleased with the deal I received and would still be pleased had it cost 50 or 60% more, but would have been ticked off to pay more than double.Summary - easy to operate, good deterrent, good VFM and not too difficult to store between fitment on a steering wheel. Before purchase, do study how it works and decide whether it will fit your steering wheel. If you don't do this and it doesn't fit, you'll put another bargain in the Warehouse!

Made to last. Strong. Easy to use and remove.Feel secure that your vehicle will still be there when you get back. Fits all vehicles I would say.

This is a strong sterring lock and can help the purpose for which you are buying it. The keys also dont seem easy to imitate for anyone. The colour is also very nice. Useful buy.

This is a great sturdy steering wheel lock. Fits well on my motorhome steering wheel. Keys easy to use.

Very easy to use. Very sturdy which I use it as a little hammer when I assemble my IKEA book shelf.If anything to improve, I would want it not to slide out itself so easily. I woul rather slide it out myself. Not something major though.

Bought this to put on my Audi A3 and it fits great! I was concerned as the steering wheel is quite chunky but it’s not an issue at all! Would recommend it as a deterrent 100%. With so many thieves using technology to steal cars I thought I’d go old school and give them a challenge 😂

Unfortunately, the lock will not fit across the centre of my steering wheel, which is raised. The lock triggers the car horn. This was not entirely unexpected, as other purchasers had mentioned the problem. However; I was able to fit is across the steering wheel, above the centre boss. It fits well and is a clear visible deterrent. It is heavy and appears robust. Obviously, a determined low life could defeat it in time. Even so, the casual car thief would probably move on to an easier target. The main draw back is the lack of a bag for storage, as the item cannot be locked in the closed position when not in use. I found a suitable bag in my garage - problem solved.
