Very Good and Functional Under-Cabinet Lights
These under-cabinet lights worked very well. The colors seemed accurate and the brightness was just right. Some of the instructions were not clear on disassembly and re-assembly but it can be figured out. I liked the way they looked. They do get warm with extended use but not hot. You do have to provide the wiring from unit to unit and to your electrical connection box. I would purchase again and I have recommended to a friend.4CertainLittle Rock, AR

They are difficult to take apart for mounting, this requires a little thought.
I cannot figure out what all if the complaints are on these lights. They have a video and it tells you how to do the knockouts, wiring, etc. Yes there isn't a lot of space inside but they do not require wire nuts. And, the mounting screws are not really hard to deal with but they do require you to drill a pilot hole - pretty basic handyman skill. The three levels of color work well and on the brightest white setting it lights up the counter very well. IThey are very sturdy and well built. My only complaint is they aren't happy with being dimmed. But I researched this issue and my switches are old and not made for LED light - I ordered the correct ones.

Installation advice here - 5 units installed
I replaced 5 under counter fluorescent fixtures with these units. After hours of searching, I bought these because:1. They are bright (high lumens compared to other similar fixtures).2. They come in 5k color temperature and were one of the only fixtures available in multiple sizes that does (they actually come with rocker for 3 color temps).3. They were inexpensive and installation appeared straightforward.Installation Tips -* VERY IMPORTANT - The fixture attaches to the frame by "snapping" the edge behind notches in the metal frame. Some of these go in easily and some became my nemesis on the first couple of lights I installed. No amount of force could get them to "snap" into place. On the third light I discovered the trick...use a 1 inch chisel and wedge it between the fixture and the curled edge of the frame. By twisting the chisel you can force the fixture into the notch in a very controlled way (see picture). You may scratch a tiny bit of paint on the edges, but it is all covered by the diffuser anyway and this will save you much pain.* It was difficult to hold the frame in the precise position under the cabinet to mark the mounting holes for drilling. After the first light I ordered the FastCap 3-HLITTLE Little Hand HD 3rd Hand Support System (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B002474UMG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) that allowed me to wedge the frame against the underside of the cabinet while making small precise adjustments. I marked the holes when it was in exactly the right position with no stress and without needing another person to hold it..I highly recommend you use something like this.* If you need to make a hole for the cable other than the punched holes, use a 1/2" drill bit.* Space inside the light is very tight especially the 24" and 18" units. There is room for 2 NM cables only..any other connections need to be done in the junction box or wall. You will need to space the connectors out in the box so they do not block you from attaching the fixture..make a good plan and be very patient with the 18" unit.Aside from the installation, the units are great. Very bright as promised so be sure you get a dimmer. I purchased this pair of Lutron dimmers that they say are compatible (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B008X3CH70/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). I am going to install them this morning so no feedback yet. The temperature color options are good..we are torn between the 4k and 5k options, the 2.7k is way too yellow for our liking which is why we chose this unit. Most other units only came in 3k which is also too yellow for a modern kitchen in my opinion. Since I was replacing old, thick fluorescent units this unit was less than half the thickness. It is completely hidden behind the front edge of the cabinet so I would have preferred they added 1/4" thickness to the unit and made them easier to fit the electrical connectors. There is a point of diminishing returns when making things smaller and smaller and I think they reached it here.

Dimmable
Installed these in living room shelf. Added a dimmer. Looks great. Wires directly into wiring in wall.

Good lights - easy install depending
The quality of these fixtures is good - to have the ability of selecting between three distinct hues is nice.Install difficulty depends on whether you are able to bring the wire into the fixture where you want ie: the largest open space. If you have more than one wire to bring in it can be crowded - drilling a new hole larger than the knockouts is helpful. I didn’t use the clamps - just protect the wire with a plastic sleeve or tape it and make your life easier. As stated in prior reviews if you need to bring in two wires you will need extra 1/4” clamps - order online unless you can go to an electrical supply house. And no, a 3/8” clampswill not work because the lock ring is too large - so yes, you can use a 3/8” clamp - just know you won’t get a lock ring on it to hold it securely. If you use a uni bit you can get just the right hole size to screw the clamp into the fixture……..I had no issues pushing the metal housing enough to snap the fixture together - it does take some finger strength but once you get the hang of it they snap closed easily.Overall I wouldn’t hesitate to use these fixtures again - good bang for the buck.

UltraPro in Everyway - This Under Cabinet Light Is Now My Principal Kitchen Light
There is a bevy of under cabinet lights out there. I settled on this one because it came in a variety of lengths (different models) that all supported a wall dimmer and multiple color temperatures.I originally got these to fix one broken fluorescent tube light. I was so happy with it, that I ended up upgrading the entire set of lights under all the cabinets in the kitchen. They work and work well. What a relief. You can tell that this was once a Honeywell product. As some reviews have noted, installation can be tricky because there is limited space in the back of this unit. Also, it has metal clips that have to be pushed in, which can take some force to do. A flat screw-driver helps with this. All the different length models are color consistent across all settings. (Phew!)And, to my surprise, the light color selection switch on the outside is handy and popular. One can have a "white light" (4000K color temperature) in the day and switch this easily to a "warm light" (3000 K) at night. While it was expensive, especially when changing many in a kitchen, they work well and are worth it.
