I’m replacing a phone my dog chewed up as a puppy. I moved and some how lost a cordless phones. Buying a new one will let me find the lost one.These are great phones, they last forever and are worth the money. Easy to program and easy to add to your phone system. Great sound, functionality and the buttons are a good size to see and they light up too.

It was time to replace our old expensive 2 line phones as my husband retired last year. I did a lot of research on phones and needed something where I could contact my husband in the middle of the night in an emergency. My husband is handicapped and watches TV most nights for hours as his neurogenic nerve pain keeps him awake. Consequently we sleep in separate bedrooms. I had a serious stroke a couple of years ago upon waking up. Cut a long story short, we both need to get a hold of each other in case of emergency. Along comes this FANTASTIC Panasonic phone system. The intercom feature is an absolute blessing. All I have to do is connect with his room and start talking (or yelling to wake him up) and he doesn't even have to pick up his handset to hear me. We can converse clearly even if he is in the en-suite bathroom. We are both deaf in one ear and if one of us needs to speak to the other somewhere in the house, again, the intercom works so well. A year after my stroke I bought some walkie talkies and they were useless, too fussy to set up channels and noise interference all night etc. Aside from the fantastic intercom, the phone with all its excellent features is such a bargain for the price. I bought five other handsets to put all over the house and I must say the clarity of the voice is absolutely perfect....so much better than our old expensive systems that often crackled. Very impressive phone system and I comment on how much I love the phone after every use. My excitement about this phone still hasn't worn off. Kudos Panasonic and a huge THANK YOU for giving us piece of mind during the night.

The phone handset is fine - good sound, etc. - but Panasonic has CHEAPED OUT out by removing (as compared with former models of same item) the little plug that connects ... and, importantly, DISCONNECTS ... the wire itself from the charging cradle. Instead, the charging base is now permanently attached/welded to the LARGE plug that goes into the electrical outlet. Without the little plug-in device at the base of the charging cradle, the large plug end can no longer drop through a standard desk hole cutout. We had to completely re-configure where the phones go, to address the now-visible, now-in-the-way phone wiring. GRRRR.

Great phone. I own eight of these and haven’t had a problem with any of them. A least four of them are 2-3 years old. They have a long standby time off the charger. Each handset requires two easily obtainable rechargeable AA batteries. Voice caller ID is easy to hear and understand.

This phone was bought to add as a third for the house. The phone is nice looking. Can hear well. Love the number of Call Block capability. Just doesn't hold a charge as long as the others.

Cell phone service at our home is terrible, so we have kept the landline. Recently the line to our kitchen went out and the phone company couldn't fix it. We already had the main system for this phone so moved it to another room. However, we missed the phone in the kitchen so bought this additional phone to use there. It was easy to set up to work with the main phone. The sound is just as could, and being cordless, it is handy to be able to move it wherever I need it.

I had a handset that lost its volume so I purchased this to replace it. I had to do nothing other than charge the battery and connect the phone line and it worked as all others in the system.I only wish that it had more volume. The speaker phone volume is sufficient in a quiet room but difficult to hear if there is much background noise.No comment on the lock feature as I don't even know what that is.Despite the negatives I still recommend this handset based on personal use.
