Smoked Mackerel to be avoided
Mackerel is an oily fish, making it a healthy choice. Sadly this was not. Delivery was prompt and well packed, vacuum sealed plus ice packs in a well insulated box, but the product itself was very poor. The fish was so dry that it was akin to eating sand. Maybe the vacuum packing process does this or maybe it was just old product, although the best by date was still a year away. No repeat order from me!
