MY FAVORITE SOLDERING IRON EVER!!
Never thought i would love a soldering iron this way:) this thing heats up, I defecate you not, in like 10 seconds!! It’s got a bunch of useless buttons all over it to make it look high tech, but to my knowledge they do nothing but beep like a baby toy… and the magnifying glass thing never worked, then just fell off… all of that said, I LOVE this thing!! It heats up SO fast!! I’ll have this forever!!

Quite good for the price.
I bought this to replace my cheap Weller soldering station that I bought in April 2024. Weller doesn’t make replacement tips for that station so I decided to replace that with this Yihua soldering station that is a large upgrade, since I had good luck with the Yihua rework station I bought previously. It heats up extremely quickly and gets plenty hot. The leadfree solder that comes with the station is decent. I really like the brass cleaning coils. I find they work way better than the sponge. The tips are the only thing I don’t really like. They don’t heat very evenly and conduct heat poorly, so I end up turning the station all the way up when using leadfree solder. Fortunately, the tips used in this station are very common so I will probably end up buying some better ones. This station is absolutely worth the $50. I highly recommend it.

Must Have for any solder job!
This is one amazing product. I have used standard stations from the more Well known brand but this puts them to shame. This thing heated up to operating temp so quick I thought I had burnt my dinner cooking on the stove. The modular design makes for a sleek and compact station that fits anywhere on my work bench and I’m not even going to mention the value for price. This is definitely a worthy purchase.

Great Starter Soldering Station
I've mainly been using it for small electronics. Also the occasional heat set insert as well.I'm not going to say it's the best out there for what it is, but okay for the price. It does have a manual, which is really useful for telling you how to get started, what each knob and button does, and by how much to compensate for the solder you're using. As for the tips they give, they're not completely bad, but after a couple uses, you will find they are only good to get started and to get a handle on how they work and for what situations they would be beneficial.Do invest money in a better set of tips, and if you've got a 3D printer, print out a tip holder you can place on top of the box, so you can keep them organized. Also, wouldn't hurt to also print a holder for the sponge, so that it's not just floating around, and gives you the option between the brass wool inside the can, and a damp sponge. What I like best about this is the just the price, but also having the ability to replace the iron if it ever gets damaged or begins to wear out, just unscrew the old and put in the new. Finally, please, get yourself a fume extraction fan for the noxious fumes from soldering and melting things, and get yourself a Third Hand, or something similar where it'll hold the piece you're trying to solder. Makes it cleaner, and less chance of burning yourself or slipping and burning the piece.

Perfect for intermittent home use with fast heating anytime
This is the closest I have had to our expensive microelectronics soldering irons in our lab for my personal home use. The heating and cooling speed is fantastic for intermittent soldering. I do a lot of work on fixing and upgrading controllers, and this has been a huge help in removing bad thumbstick units to swap with new or upgraded hall effect sensor thumbsticks.

This is an outstanding product backed by excellent customer service.
Two disclaimers:1. I've only had this for two weeks, so can't speak to long-term robustness. However, I have used it for several hours per day during that time.2. I have a thermocouple setup that I can use to measure the temperature accuracy and calibrate the unit. However, I haven't as yet calibrated the thermocouple system, so have not done so. Since the soldering station has worked so well from the first time I used it, I haven't bothered.I have been electrical & electronic soldering, some limited plumbing soldering, and, lately, some plastic welding (using an iron) thrown in for good measure. I've used irons, guns, and an old Weller analog station, but this is my first use of an up-to-date digital station. I worked for an aerospace firm that even gave me a course in it (though it wasn't really part of my job as an engineer; it was primarily for our technician colleagues). Even with all this experience and practice, I've never been very good at it. Usually, I can make copper stick together and get a zero reading on a multimeter, but it usually takes way too long and looks like crap. Heaven forbid that any customer ever attempted to fly anything that was held together with my soldering.Well, no longer. This station has made me a pro (though some of my technician colleagues may yet disagree). What it's been used for the past couple of weeks is the worst of my soldering jobs: connecting those waterproof LED lighting strips where you have to cut away the silicon gel coating to get to the copper pad (which itself seems akin to brain surgery) and then solder connecting wires to that. Of course, irons and guns have no adjustments, and, for whatever reason, I could never dial-in the old analog station to make a clean job of that. Miraculously, this station has made that a breeze. After a few days of trial and error and getting the station dialed in plus a few "technique adjustments", I was so pleased I ordered a second one for a remote workshop.Secondary to function, especially useful is the feature that you can secure the iron holder to the top of the power supply or remove it to place in a more convenient position. Since my work spaces are small, with constantly changing configurations and very limited storage, I made an aluminum stand for my old Weller that implemented this very feature; however, my MIG aluminum welding skill is even worse than my soldering skill, so, though it was functional (well, after a couple of "accessory pieces" had broken off), it was a complete piece of junk- cosmetically, a DIY abortion that no one should have to gaze upon. It is really nice to see this capability incorporated into an off-the-shelf product.Additionally, most of their manuals are online, but the manual for this one isn't (or wasn't; I think it's a brand new product). Since I now have two of these, and find it hard enough to keep up with one hard-copy manual, I contacted their customer support to get an electronic copy. They were prompt, courteous, and fulfilled all expectations in that regard as well, and the manual is securely stashed away on several different computers.I would highly recommend this product.

good quality
Hands down the best soldering station that I have ever used. Superior engineering right down to workspace foot print. They thought of everything. It heats faster than I ever expected. Great product, cant say enough.
