Titus Andronicus (New Cambridge)I have an English degree and I love Shakespeare, so there's my nerd credentials up-front. I adore the New Cambridge editions of the Shakespeare plays and have them all in ebook form. When my husband needed a paper copy for school, these were the only editions I wanted to get for him. The footnotes are thorough, plentiful, and very very useful. The introductions are thoughtful and easy to read, even for newbies. I cannot recommend these editions enough; they are truly the best I've ever seen.~ Ana Mardoll

The New Cambridge edition of "Titus Andronicus," though the most attractively printed, is not recommended, unless you desire almost no editorial annotation, or are acting or directing the play. The editor is a stage director and most of the notes are concerned with that angle rather than the literary one. The Arden is probably the one to get if you want a more detailed exegesis.
