Neat idea, worst quality cutter
I would like to imagine this works, but the quality of the cut is so atrocious that I can't use it. It just mashes my dog's nail instead of cutting cleanly. Not cutting the quick is irrelevant if the method of cutting the nail amounts to smashing it between two rocks.

Works Great for me
I read other reviews and I love these clippers. The indicator works great. It does require a battery and I left my pair in the on position and now I do need new batteries. But I have had these clippers for about 2 years. I feel comfortable clipping my dog's nails now that I have the quick finder nail clippers.

Good clippers, not good quick finder
The clippers themselves are sturdy and sharp, even on thick black nails, however, the quick finder isn't very accurate at all.

Great if you want to scare everyone...
Man, this thing is LOUD! What the heck?! It's a loud snap/bang with every cut of the nail. Almost like a nail gun. Wasn't expecting that. I've never had a trimmer make a noise like this. Scared the hell out of me. My dog is terrified of it. Just get a good pair of nail trimmers, not this plastic box that makes everyone in the house jump!

Not worth the money or struggle
It did not work as expected. The light is supposed to come on when it’s not safe to cut and we had so much trouble with it showing us a safe place. We had to use it upside down in order for it to actually cut.

Did not fit dogs nails as advertised.
Did not fit dogs nails as advertised, for up to 75 lbs, but would not fit my 60lb dog. When returned I only received a partial refund bc of an open package fee.

Indicator lights on wrong side of handle!
I disliked the ability to see the quick as the indicator lights were impossible to see (should be on the opposite handle) .
