I read the reviews ahead of time, so I was mentally prepared for how long this would take and like all the other reviews have mentioned this playset is extremely time consuming. There are 300 steps to complete however, very rarely were the steps difficult. In fact, I was able to do the majority of the building on my own with minimal experience. The BILT app was essential to have and was extremely easy to use. I couldn’t imagine building it without the app. I have seen people mention that they thought the quality of the wood was not great, but I have to disagree. I thought the playset was great quality and very sturdy. I also had no issues with the hardware. It is essential to sort the pieces before you start. I used Post-it notes to label each piece. I couldn’t imagine having to search for each piece when it came time to building. It would’ve added a lot of time and a lot of frustration on building day. I did not organize the hardware, but I should have. I would suggest organizing it numerically. Overall, I think this is a great playset. The kids LOVE it which makes all of the time and money spent on it worth it.

I shopped for a long time before finally settling on this swing set. What I liked most about it is that is has a tube slide, circle rope swing and is multi-level. I had questions about it before purchasing & Backyard Discovery was quick to answer my questions and friendly on the phone. The price for this playscape is a very good value based on my research of other options on the market. After I placed my order, I got a call from the company making sure I was happy with my purchase so far and to see if there was anything they could do to help. They gave me a contact number and a contact rep and reminded me when I had scheduled my delivery. The delivery company was also fantastic, friendly customer service and arrived within the time frame as expected, which I thought was also pretty fast. Once we laid out all the pieces, I was very impressed with the quality of the playscape. The wood is hard and sturdy and doesn't splinter, nor did it not break under pressure when screwing it together. The plastic pieces are a good color and seem like they will hold up well under bad weather. The best part is, my kids absolutely love this thing. They play on it ALL THE TIME and it has really helped them get excited about going outside instead of being inside on electronics. Overall, I give this playscape and company the highest remarks -- the product is better than expected, customer service is outstanding and I am glad I bought a swing set that is going to hold up well in the outdoors.

My 3 year old loves it but as a parent I would say it’s pretty flimsy, the wood is pretty light and my climb wall broke when it was windy but other that is a fun place for my girl

Update: We have only had this swing set for maybe 3weeks and it’s starting to crack in some places. It will most likely not last for 5+ years that we were hoping. Giving 3 stars now because of the cracks.You notice it in everything. From the corners of outstanding wood pieces being cut so they don’t hurt running kids, to the size of the wood beam for the swing. It appears an intelligent individual planned the building process as well since the distribution and orientation of certain joints and screws are meticulously positioned to ensure the most for weight support.Well worth every penny.Its only downside is how long it takes to build. 50+ hours total. It’s a monster project.

This was a nightmare to setup and whoever cut the pieces and pre-drilled the holes was just lazy. Plus it came with missing parts and none of the wood was treated for outdoor use.1. The directions are nearly impossible to follow.2. Received 5 boxes with specific directions thinking all of parts in each box matched the corresponding directions, but all of the parts were randomly in all of the boxes.3. Some of the pre-drilled holes didn't line up.4. Some of holes were missing altogether.5. None of the wood was cut in angles, so I had to cut them myself to make them fit.6. None of the wood was treated, so I had to buy and apply sealer myself to preserve it.7. Missing 16 bolts.

My grandchildren love coming over to my house and playing on their new playground! It’s great because you can add parts to it as my son just had a baby this year so I’m adding on a swing for the baby, the playground is suitable for children ages 7 months+

We are extremely happy with this purchase, and most importantly the kids love it! We estimate that it took about 35 "human hours" total, which for us was split at about 10 hours for me and 25 hours for my husband. It was fun to build, I would say anyone who can read a tape measure and lift 50 pounds would qualify for this project. There are definitely times where you need two pairs of hands.The directions are great; highly recommend using the Built App so you can rotate the pieces in 3D and make sure you have all the pre-drilled holes facing the correct direction. We used a cordless impact driver to tighten most of the bolts and lag screws. I honestly think it would be worth buying an impact driver for this build if you don't already have one. The lag screws drain a typical cordless drill battery very quickly. You'll need the typical cordless drill handy for all the small screws to attach the paneling.We came up short on a few screws and we seem to have been shorted 2 of the ground stakes. However, a quick phone call to Backyard Discovery and the parts are on their way via fedex. They were very kind on the phone and easy to work with.If you are up for the project, this is an awesome play set!
