This Product Works !
I live in a hot humid climate. I have a small pond that is about 15 inches deep. No fish but lots of tadpoles that I don't want to harm. Pond was very green and gooey from the heat. My fountain pumps lots of water so I used this product per label instructions. Water started to clear up nicely. So I drained and cleaned the pond and added all new clear water. I've been using this product as directed on the bottle and the water has remained clean and clear. The cost is reasonable. I will definitely purchase this product again.

Seems to be working, but it's taking a while to clear my pond
Taking a while to kill the algae in my pond, but the water is so crystal clear, I can now *see* the algae that remains without any trouble :)

Suppress algae without killing surrounding plants
This product has done a good job of suppressing the growth of algae in our fountain without killing the surrounding plants. Seemed od to me that Amazon would not ship the gallon size to my location but would ship 2 quarts?

DO NOT BUY!!!! Kills fish AND plants.
If I could give negative stars I would. The video for this product shows a woman putting it into her Koi pond which gives the illusion it is safe for Koi. It also states in its advertising to be safe for fish and plants. This product almost killed my entire Koi pond. I spent 16 hours emptying my pond in a panic because all of my fish were gasping for air, I have a 5000 gallon Koi pond with plenty of aeration as well as a large waterfall . I spoke to numerous specialist, who all told me this product should be taken off the market as it is poison. It has misleading claims and misleading advertising. I can’t stress enough not to buy this product. In addition to killing 2 baby fish, it also killed plants in my pond. This product needs to be taken off the market!!! I cannot stress enough, not to buy this product.

Fast acting to control algae
I found it to work immediately and effectively. I have used ivermectin a week and the algae is mostly gone and water is clear. This was applied to a fountain that spills over its sides to a basin below. Water is recirculated constantly.

It works, just be VERY, VERY careful!
I'll start with a disclaimer that the product does work in controlling algae in a pond where you have fish. With that said, you have to be EXTREMELY careful when measuring this out. You have to know how much water you have in your pond and use ONLY the recommended amount. If you are in a rush or if you guess, your fish will end up dead. This happed to me, and I acknowledge that it was my fault that I killed my ten year old fish when I was in a rush.I won't use it again; more of a safety precaution. I'll figure out other methods of controlling algae. So, I won't bash the product. It works. Just know that if you make a mistake that it will kill your fish.
