Will the heat kill my lawn?

Yes, you will need to set it on some flagstone or concrete board. And still move it around so as not to kill the grass.

Is this difficult to assemble? I’m a little worried with it being two pieces and that expert assembly is offered for $140.

It is supper easy to assemble. You just set one piece on top of the other. I do not, however, think it’s worth $140. It was $99 when I bought it a year ago, and I thought long and hard before spending that much. It does, however, do what it says…mostly. I’m referring to the whole smokeless thing. My mom is allergic to smoke. She could be around that fire, but had to go inside whenever I added more wood pellets. It’s smoky for a minute or two after adding pellets. I also didn’t smell like a campfire when I was done. If that makes it worth $140 to you, then go for it. If not, you can always put it in your cart and wait for the price to come down. Good luck! 😊
