Was worth it.
Our son has a 2002 Blazer that was our 1st car that we kept around as a 3rd vehicle. His transmission was acting up and i started with the solenoids, then ended up getting a shift kit for the valve body and then after looking at the fluid just decided to tear out the transmission and rebuild it because it was one of the few things I haven't done. This book was worth every penny, really clear diagrams, step by step, no issues at all. I will never do another transmission but if you plan to this is worth it.

Good information
This is one of the two books I have purchased from this author. I like them both equally as they provide necessary information on transmissions as they should. The instructions and illustrations are clear, to the point and very detailed. This is a must have if you're a newbie and just a great addition if you are a seasoned diy'er with growing your garage bit by bit over the years. In short, very informative, easy to read, very detailed and much added value to your knowledge base. Stay hungry my friends.

Mostly accurate
I bought this to do my 2004 as the listing shows it covers ‘94 and up, but that’s falsely stated. The book itself says 1993-1994 on the cover and they just put a sticker over it that says 1993-2015. It was only missing a handful of modern information such as modern electronics found on the late model transmissions. some of the information is a little opinionated as to leaving out parts that are factory or modifications for shift behaviors. BUT it’s still accurate enough that I’ve completed my task with minimal google searches. I would recommend this book as its very easy to follow and is step by step with fantastic illustrations and labeling

Very helpful to have
It was a good step-by-step guide on how to rebuild a 4L60E. There were a few small information issues that I assume are addressed in the very expensive update guide
