Have this running where we had 2 strand fiber in traditional sfp modules to a remote switch.With this sfp we easily doubled capacity from 10gig to 20 without any hassle. Plugged em in and away we went.If you have a damaged fiber this could be a lifesaver too.Comments that it doesn't work with ubiquiti are just more people who shouldn't be allowed to do networking.

The transceivers functioned but the speeds were all over the and erratic but always less than 1GB. The devices auto negotiated at 1GB and when I forced them to 10GB the speeds dropped to less than 10Mbps. I tried them in different SFP+ ports and I tested the fiber with different transceivers. If you have Ubiquiti gear and purchased these, I would definitely test them as they work but not well with less that 1000Mbps throughput. I returned them and going with a different brand.I have 10Gtek Dac cables working flawlessly on the same devices, maybe I just got a bad pair?

These allowed me to have transmitt and receive over a single fiber. Just plug and play.

We had a duplex 10G cross-connect with a provider that we were able to slit into two 10G links to double our bandwidth using these optics.

Tossed these in a couple Ubiquiti Unifi switches that are connected over a 1 mile fiber strand. Everything works great at 10GB speed.

These ARE NOT UBIQUITI compatible. And unlike the answers I received to my questions, which were incorrect! They are compatible with D-LINK DGS-1210-28. Wasted 6 hours troubleshooting my fiber and trying different configurations and different fiber color. Finally got them to link on a 900 foot fiber run using the D-Link and a TP-Link switch.
