The quality of this ikura is "ok," not the best. There's a slight smell with the tin I received, not like when you spend the money to get high-end product with a specialty caviar vendor. The roe was slightly collapsed and lacked the fullness of really fresh caviar. If you're picky about the "pop," you might be disappointed with this product. I suspect that even if they say "ketta" grade, which is chum salmon caviar, this might be pink salmon caviar. The quality of the packing was substandard for shipping a high-end product such as this. It arrived "cool" not cold, such as refrigerator cold, and it should have been. Hope I don't get sick.
