Gamo P-900
This is a nice starter pellet pistol, with some small reservations. The pistol is plastic and very light. The grips on some pistols might be rubberized, but the grips on my pistol are the same plastic as the rest of the pistol. The grips feel good, for right or left hand shooters, and has a nice texture. There is a distinct seam on the center of the body of the pistol, where the left and right sides of the pistol join. I used my utility knife (razor) and worked the seam off, then used sand paper to smooth the work, ending up with 1500 grit sand paper and the line was almost gone. The trigger which is not adjustable, broke at a nice 2.5 lbs on my scales. It too has a molding ridge on the center , which I also smoothed out. The sights are adjustable for windage only. The rear sight is a bright yellow, I used some hobby paint, and now the rear sight is a nice black. The pistol is easy for an me to cock, but a child or someone with less upper body strength might have some problem cocking it. This could be a safety feature, if you have small children in the house. The pistol is very accurate at the range it was designed for, 10 yards. I'm able to hold my shots is the 10X ring, of a air pistol target, If I do my part. This is a fun and affordable air pistol for target practice and casual back yard plinking.

Fun little target plinker
This is the least powerful air gun I own, but one that I really enjoy shooting. If you're interested in hunting, don't expect to bag anything bigger than a mouse with this thing. It does cut through a soda can at 10 yards, but that's probably about the limit of the damage it might inflict. It's accurate enough to make back yard target plinking fun, it's very light weight - I've never shot a break barrel that even comes close to the light weight of this model, it's pretty darn easy to cock, it's super quiet, and it's inexpensive. It feels like a toy, but a well made one, and that can make for enjoyable extended target practice.

Nice, not thrilling, but nice!
First of all, the pistol doesn't come with a box, it's packaged in throw away plastic blister packaging. Packaging aside, the pistol is comprised mostly of plastic with metal only where it should be, and that's inside the pistol like the barrel and pneumatic cylinder, etc. All this means is that the pistol is light; maybe a little too light for my preference. Trigger pull is fairly light as well, but this is a good thing in my book. Sights, however, are something to be desired. You get a red fiber optic sight up front, which is good, but the rear sight is garbage. It's a yellow painted piece of metal that is adjustable for windage only. Sighting this thing in is a bit of a challenge, but once I got my pistol sighted in as good as it was going to get, I found the Crosman hunting .177 cal, 7.4 gr. lead pellets to be the most accurate out of 4 different types of pellets that I tried. Shooting from 25' away at a target 3 1/2 inches in diameter, I shot a pretty tight group just to the left of center of target. Considering center of target is smaller than a dime, I would have to say that accuracy is very good. I plan to add a red dot or laser sight to eliminate having to use the sights (mainly the rear). Overall, I believe this pistol to be a decent buy for the money. Accuracy is good with the right pellet, power is decent, the break barrel isn't that difficult to operate, and it's aesthetically unusual, which is the main reason I bought this pistol.

i like the look.
its a good looking producted but its speed leaves something to be desired, however its great for a kid and is very accurate, and it fits the hand good will recommend it to a kid but adults may not like it in some sense, but another person will probably have a different opinion , but I give it to my daughter and she loves it so it is a good starter pistol.and think you.

Atother disappointing Gamo Product.
I sometimes wonder if Gamo actually shoots the product they sell? I have found this pistol to be not at all accurate, the rear site is almost worthless and the trigger is just as terrible as the SAT triggers On the Gamo rifles. Honestly the Beeman P17 is half the price and twice gun with a fully adjustable trigger, fully adjustable rear site and laserbeam accuracy. Get it together Gamo.

Works great
This is not a blow back pistol it don't use CO2 it's a pull back slide to cock the bb gun
