Wow what a find!! A friend recommended this to me as having been bitten as usual I had a very bad reaction. Having used it only a couple of times the healing process was visible to see. Normally I would suffer for weeks and the mark of the bite would remain purple for ages. I could not believe how quickly the bites cleared up. Only down side is that it really is like smearing honey over your skin. But yes I would definitely recommend.

It helped healing but unfortunately half the tube had hard bits of crystal honey and wouldn’t melt down even when left in a radiator

I find manuka honey always works well.

I swear by manuka.It really helps wounds heal.I chose the biggest tube as it seemed like the best value.It was sealed but the tube isn't full.I'm sure it is the weight that is advertised, but I've paid a lot of money for very little product and have used it all in 3 days for a small wound.I won't be buying again simply due to the amount I got for the price.I'm aware manuka is expensive and this is medical grade, but I can't afford to use it up in 3 days.

We have used Manuka Honey for skin treatments in the past, burns and cuts. This time it had a rather big job to do; help with the healing of my wife's Knee Replacement surgery. The cut from these is very long and is a massive wound. So she has been using this every night, covered with a protective dressing, and the healing of the wound and the scar reduction are remarkable, even to us. It is now 12 weeks since the operation and the scar, while still visible, is showing great progress with the skin knitting very well and the size of the scar reducing visibly over this short time.
