This is a very powerful reader that also lets you edit modules and perform the same routines as the old DRB 3 for Jeeps. I was able to program new chip keys to a 2005 TJ with this. It definitely goes deeper than just reading trouble codes.

This scan tool was an affordable alternative to dealership and allowed me to perform special functions after I replaced a head on our van. Eliminated a lot of guess work and was easy to use as well as functionally accurate when interfacing with cars electronics. Thanks

I had written a review previously stating that I would return the product due to poor tech support and false advertising. Since then I have received amazing tech-support to help me try to solve my issue and they explained that the email address I had tried was not the correct one which is why they hadn’t responded. The scanner still did not complete the task I needed it to, but their tech-support has been very responsive and helpful since then. I think this is a great product, just not the right one for my project.

It's difficult to find scan tools that perform all functions of the 99-04 Grand Cherokees. NOTE: This treats WJ as a WK so it's not 100% - What's really needed is something like Forscan for Jeeps ! It does however tamk to the ABS, 42RE, door locks, dashboard, etc. It does not however know how to swap modules so keep that in mind.

The scanner worked for 6 months now it won't read my vehicle at all. I'm with in the 1 year warranty so I either want a new one or I want my money back I paid a lot for the scanner and it's crap after 6 months foxwell either fix my scanner or refund my money I'm with in warranty and I guess if u refuse I will sue u so ur choice I would just fix it or refund my money u don't wanna get sued for this do ya?

ok the foxwell code reader is great for the purpose i need it im not a professional mechanic but my household consist of 3 cars and to have a diagnostic tool on hand is a bonus. i purchased the software for my 18 jeep grand cherokee which falls under Chrysler. At first use i couldn't clear a code i had. After several attempts and a internet search i found out that my vehicle has a security gateway which prevents me from clearing codes,the 12 8 adapter that was included in my purchase was a godsend after finding my security gateway i plugged the adapter in and was able to clear my code and actually run realtime test on my vehicle this foxwell machine has so many options and test that you can run its amazing so for all the 2018 and newer jeep chrysler vehicle owners the foxwell works once you do a internet search for you vehicle specific security gateway.

In my opinion, for the home mechanic, this is the best. A must have for everyone. Without this I would be dead in the water. Helped me program my crank and cam sensor timing. Now my car works great. Honestly it has so many features for you to program that you probably won't use them all. It provides vehicle specific codes, from engine to transmission, and even body module. Gives access to active testing and live data as well. Honestly if your undecided, in my opinion, this one is the best.
