SureFeed Split Bowl Blue

I needed another color bowl so I wouldn’t accidentally give meds to the wrong cat. Perfect fit. Sturdy and easy to clean.

Bowls are nice. I prefer the split bowls, which is one complete bowl with a divider between the two sections so that you don’t have two separate bowls. The split bowls fill Sure Feed feeding trays more snugly, and don’t move around as much. In addition to the split and half bowls, they make another kind of split bowl with rubber in between on the top which is even a better fit but I don’t know what the name of those are.The half (which are two separate) bowls, wash up cleaner because they don’t have the divider and 90-degree angle of it where just a bit of food can collect (I’m talking very minimal) along the bottom edge.Just be sure that you have placed the bowls, whichever style you decide to order, level in the sure feed micro chip feeder, because otherwise the door of the feeder will try to close, hit the tray, and recede back.Easy to do when in a hurry so just take a moment and save yourself the little inconvenience.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I knew it would lift the microchip feeder I have for our cats. Also I liked the color.

Great product. My kitty loves it and the color. I ordered 2 and only received 1.

I ordered two feeders, which each came with the standard grey bowls. They work fine, but with two cats, I was always washing them to immediately re-use. So when I noticed that the bowls were available in different colors AND also in divided bowls, I ordered an extra in pink and an extra in blue.Now I can have different colors and options for each cat. And these are just as easy to clean as the originals, and they fit perfectly. I do not put them in the dishwasher (they clean so easily it isn't necessary). I also do not warm up the canned food in the bowls in the microwave. They still look as good as the day that I bought them.

Pricey? Ehhh, sure. But they’ve held up for years. I have 4 bowls and throw them in the dishwasher every evening, they’ve been fine for ~4+ years now. Look like new, even.Holds quite a bit of food, even the split style. Easy to clean. No complaints.

He eats 2 types of dry food prescribed by my vet. Perfect for the feeder, keeps the other 2 out of his food…and him out of there. But Mom, their food smells so much better!

The half bowls move around inside the feeder. I had to use double sided tape in the feeder just so the bowls wouldn't slide around. The cardboard in the packaging would help in the feeder. I had to replace one of my feeders and the new split bowl that comes with the feeder looks like 2 half bowls attached in a regular bowl. Not sure if that would help. (I can't try it because my dogs are the half bowls-which is why I need the feeders to begin with!)
