Horrible product Burns up socket
Within seconds of plugging it in, the piece and my socket got so hot. And the socket blew up and tripped my electrical supply at home !!! No wonder it is so cheaply priced, because it can cause more costly damage to your equipment.

Noisy & smelly, works fine so far
So far the transformer is working and there is no damage to my Xbox. However the hum generated is so loud that I need to keep my TV volume twice as loud as I normally keep it. If the transformer is left on for more than 30 min, you get some burning plastic smell. I have to turn it off after 30 min and make sure it completely cools down before I can use it again.

This step up accessory was best suited to my imported amplifier.

Burnt out in a few days
Worked well in Bombay, but burnt out the first day of use in Madras after a power cut.
