Looks like the shipper dragged it here
VERY well packaged and with that size and weight, it needed it. Looks like the shipper dragged it here. But just some box damage. Inside completely encased in form-fitting Styrofoam so even if it took a direct hit, most likely would only damage the Styrofoam.Fire bowl has three small 1/8" holes in the center for water drainage, so filling with sand as a heat block not an option unless you cover the holes, or fill with bolts or rivets. If you want to put a mat underneath it, the legs are 30" apart tip to tip longways, 22" shortways. For a cover, the inner edge of the lip is is 33.5" across, outer 39.25. The cover Amazon proposed ("Classic Accessories 58992-EC Terrazzo Fire Pit Cover, Round") is a perfect fit without a screen cover, but won't work with one unless very flat. (The mfg should be providing these dimensions.)But it is a sharp looking pit, and well constructed, clearly superior in every way to those steel bowled abominations you see at HD or Lowes that you read about rusting out or paint peeling etc. So yes, its definitely worth it the extra money. Will update when we use it.

All of the fire pits were made of very thin material and did not look like they would last very long
Before making a decision of which fire pit to purchase I visited Menards, Lowes, Home Depot, and a variety of other distributors. All of the fire pits were made of very thin material and did not look like they would last very long. I took a chance, then decided to spend a little more money and purchased this particular fire pit from Titan Distributors. We use this fire pit at a resort in northern Michigan where we have fires every night. It's not uncommon to 20 to 25 people sitting around this fire pit. We have received many compliments on how beautiful this product it. This is a heavy duty fire pit that is extremely well constructed. I like the heavy grate at the bottom of the fire pit which helps with airflow. Highly recommended!!

Awesome firepit
Yep you can find cheaper but you get what you pay for. The size is excellent and the copper bowl is beautiful. The iron stand and grate insert is very solid. Well worth the money. The only cheap item is the handle on the fire poker that is included. The poker works great. Highly recommend this firepit for any backyard.

Flimsy and not worth the money
Over all, the base is sturdy and that’s where it ends. The bowl is paper thin and flimsy, not what you think you were going to get for an expensive fire pit. Couldn’t wait to use this with my family, and didn’t even get it all the way out of the box, when I grabbed the bowl and felt how thin the metal was.

Fantastic Fire Pit!
What a bargain! This fire pit is outstanding quality and is exactly what we were looking for. At this price point, I'm not sure there is a better bargain out there. It came safely packaged. Easy to set up as there is just the stand to set the bowl in, the wood grate, and the copper bowl. We placed a "duraflame" log in it and fired her up for the first time. There are drain holes in the bottom, but I recommend the cover for when you are not using it. I would definitely recommend this to anyone and would certainly buy it again.

See Edit.
EDIT: Titan got a hold of me right away and made things right with me. They said they are sending the below pictures to their manufacturing facility to address the quality control issue and I tend to believe them judging from how the customer service response was. Hope they can get this handled in the factory, it was some fit and finish issues away from being an awesome fire pit and it seems like my experience was the exception and not the rule judging by the other reviewsPretty disappointed in the quality of this premium product. It is touted as a premium product and the price tag reflects that, but the fit and finish of it leaves a lot to be desired and some of the issues I believe will lead to a shorter product life. The "powder coating" finish on the base and grate is not a powder coating that that I think of when I hear that word, it is thin and has gaps in the finish and tags that hang off which will ultimately break off and then provide a spot for rust to form. The lip on this is rolled around what appears to be a steel hoop which will also be a spot to rust which makes the 100% copper bowl claim to be inaccurate and the construction cheaper. On the surface it looks like a sharp fire pit that appears fancy, but when you look at the details, I don't really think it would be worth such a premium price. Will likely be returning this unless we can figure out a way to address the finish as this cost to much to just put up with it. Great idea, poor execution.

Very impressed
I researched a lot of fire pits before deciding on this one and wasn't disappointed. Large and attractive. Lots of room for a pretty good sized fire. Higher up off the ground than many other fire pits. Very pleased with the functionality and attractiveness of this fire pit. Highly recommend!I'm sure some folks will knock off 1 star because the 3 small holes in the bottom of the fire pit don't provide good drainage but it's not a big deal to me. I did drill a larger hole but unless you've removed all the ash from your previous fire, it will still retain water.

Quality concerns after first use - paint chipping
The Titan fire pit arrived in good shape and the packaging was well designed to protect all elements of the fire pit. After unpacking the copper bowl in the stand and the great all looked in good shape. However, after the first use of the fire pit the fire great shows significant paint chipping and oxidation. Clearly the paint was either poorly applied or the wrong type of paint was used. This does not bode well for the long term use of the fire pit. I will probably have to replace the grate in short order and will seek out a sturdier solution. At this point, I do not recommend purchase of the titan fire pit.
