Comes off with a little tug - maybe it works on slick surfaces, but almost no car dash is slick.

The stand itself is great quality but I purchased an original PopSockets brand popsocket to use with it just to find out that it isn’t compatible at all despite the claim that it is. This is false advertising and very frustrating since I paid $25 for a popsocket I can’t use with this stand.

I was really struggling to find a phone mount that I felt didn't look out of place in my car and I'm so glad I found this one. There are definitely cheaper options but I am so impressed with this product that I believe it is worth every cent. Apart from looking great and blending in to my car, it has a super strong magnet and I haven't had any issues with my phone falling off or even slipping when connected to the mount, and I have very stiff suspension so I'm very impressed. I also really like that the metal plate that sits on the back of the phone isn't magnetic so I don't need to worry about sitting my phone with my wallet or anything along those lines. The metal plate is so slim and even though it is sat underneath my phone case the hold on the magnetic base is still so strong!

Really great product. I have purchased a bunch of different holders over the years to hold my phone to use it as a GPS and for hands free calling. This is the first holder that's very convenient, and actually holds my phone in place, I drive gravel and bumpy roads in a very stiff truck and it has never fallen out of place !

After trying 4-5 useless plastic gizmos, found this item while searching on youtube, its perfect. I mount the foot vertically on the dash so I had to screw 2 little bolts but I have 2009 car so I didn't care, I just wanted a strong hold, have to say that I didn't even try with only the 3M adhesive. For the metal plate and the magnet part, its pretty strong. I'm very please with the result.
