Long lasting
Long lasting compared to rawhide and healthier and saferWell liked by every dog so far. Im a dogsitter and love theseWill buy again! I definitely recommend it. It'sis a savings over big rawhide even though it costs more per piece because it lasts almost 10 x longer.

Good for multiple sized dog homes
I run a dog rescue and finding things to occupy a dogs crate time, is important. I love these yak chews because I can start off by giving them to the larger dogs, who can work on them for hours. Then as they dwindle down in size, I can give it to a medium sized dog, who will happily whittle it down further, until it's the perfect size for the ankle biters. So everyone gets to enjoy them, through the life of the chew. I cannot speak to their taste, (one of the rating questions) as I did not buy them for me, but the dogs seem to enjoy them and the smell, unlike bully sticks or hooves, is non-existent. We get our money's worth out of these chews and they will always be on the top of our Amazon Wishlist, because of it.

Great chew
Wonderful chew for. 95 lb pup. We needed to be watchful of when it became too small.

Support Small Businesses!
These chews last about as long as one can expect for a 4 year-old Australian Cattle Dog. Sometimes he paces himself and they last days, and occasionally he eats it within a couple hours. Himalayan chews are the only thing that last longer than about two seconds with this guy! When he starts to look a bit antsy/crazy, I ask him “Where’s your cheese?“ and he will go get it.Our original order had one or two of the chews that had a few tiny little black dots. I contacted the company, and they sent me a new bag immediately. They are a small, family owned business, and were very nice and responsive. I did not have to return the others, which was nice because not all of that chews in the bag were affected. The spots were quite superficial, didn’t fully look like mold, but I didn’t give them to my dog to be on the safe side. The company also included another bag of a different type of treat, which was really sweet.Their price is significantly lower than some of the other companies out there, and given their customer service, durability of the chews, and the fact that they are a small family business, they will be keeping my business.

Harder than some others
Last longer, my dog loves them, she is pit mix and a very strong chewer very strong. One will last her three or four days the other time we were getting with only last for one day if that.

Okay but lower quality.
Usually it takes our girl several days to work through a yak chew. Unfortunately, these ones shard off quickly and it took her less than 20 minutes to nearly finish it off. My concern is the way the pieces broke off, potentially causing a pierced intestines. This has t been an issue with the yak chews from Mud bay, for example. Not sure it’s it’s how it’s processed or what but…after one of 4 of these yak chews I’m considering not even giving her the rest.

Dog likes them
Expensive but aggressive jack rusell chewer loves them and it takes awhile for her to destroy them. Depending on her mood they'll last about a week.

WILL CAUSE OBSTRUCTION
After doing quite a bit of research, I was convinced that yak chews were completely safe for dogs. However, that is far from the case. I gave my dog one of these chews and in about 2 days he had eaten it down to a little 3" or so piece. I picked it up, threw it away, and gave him a fresh one. On the second chew I wasn't paying close enough attention and didn't pick it up when it got down to a little 3" piece. My dog ended up swallowing it. Thankfully he didn't choke, but over the next few days he threw up repeatedly. I was monitoring to make sure I didn't need to take him to the ER for a possible obstruction and after 2-3 days of throwing up he finally threw up the little 3" piece of chew. My biggest problem with this is, after 2-3 days why did this not fully digest?! It was still large and had visible tooth marks. I'm just incredibly grateful that he didn't get an obstruction from this stupid chew. I did toss the rest in the garbage and we will not be purchasing anymore. This chew is absolutely going to cause an obstruction for a poor dog some day. DANGEROUS.
