The media could not be loaded. I found this easel very easy to put together. All of the pieces fit correctly, everything was clearly labeled (parts and tools) and in about a half hour the easel was properly constructed. It is a truly beautiful piece of furniture with lovely brass fittings and a smooth rosewood finish. It is large and sturdy, weighing about 25lbs, with wheels that roll easily and lock into place. One of the main draws for me aside from the beauty of it was the fact that it can tilt to a perfectly vertical angle which is important for me as a painter. It's easy to adjust in spite of the heft of the individual parts and would be able to comfortably support very large canvases. Everyone who has seen it thinks it's incredibly beautiful. I haven't used it for painting yet but I already have a canvas affixed at it's holding it very securely. I would highly recommend this easel!

best money spent! by far the quality is higher than the price. packaging was very secure, setup was easy and the product looks great and is very sturdy. highly recommend.

The box was delivered by auSPS - one side looked like it had been dropped and I was fearful of damage - but the contents were well packaged and no damage was present. The instructions were clear, parts were marked, and assembly was easy. When compared to my table easel and Avant II metal easel - this is not only much more attractive, easier to position, but also sturdy and rigid. I had to make major modifications to my Avanti II easel - this easel is very attractive and matched my studio furniture (one of the purchase reasons) but I did not need to make one modification. Rubber stopper on top and bottom holders, top holder adjusts down to small size, and if working small or large - easy to adjust. I work vertical - not horizontal , but if I need to finish a painting - just put it horizontal to apply a fjinishing coat. Totally worth it.

I’m an experienced working artist who uses the hell out of my easel. This model is a complete delight. Everything went together beautifully, it is very heavy duty but rolls easily, and it’s almost too pretty to get paint on. Not that this will stop me. I’m a dedicated Best Easel customer for decades, but I’m finding this comparable for half the price. Granted, this is beech and not oak, but the strong construction looks like it will still be a great investment.

This is a beautiful easel. However, the small craftsmanship flaws on mine are making it difficult to put together. The slots on part #2do not slip over the pegs on part #3 because of a slight misalignment, and one of the pegs has a repair on it because the bolt hole was drilled off-center. Will the bolt holes line up with their mates after I enlarge the slot? To be continued.......Okay. I did not wait for feedback from the seller. Taking out my trusty round-file, I gently lengthened the slot and the peg slipped in nicely. The rest of the easel went together easily until I reached the last step....the long back support (part #6) was split. Dismantling the easel and repacking it for return seemed daunting at this point so, since I am not without skills....or tools....I used wood glue and clamps to repair the split. Next morning, with the last piece in place, I had my beautiful easel.My advice: 1. take photos of how the pieces are packed before you remove them from the shipping box. 2. Check ALL the pieces for damage before starting assembly. 3.Return a damaged easel unless you have tools to repair minor flaws.My final comment is that this is a sturdy, handsome easel which takes up little space and, because of its tilt-ability, is rather unique.

Great easel. It's too pretty and I'm scare to paint on it. Gorgeous furniture. lol
