Love it
This is an impressive Chinese cleaver. For $47, it's a bargain. Very nice looking cleaver. Feels good in the hand. If you're used to a regular chefs knife, it might feel heavy at first. But you get used to it in no time. The weight actually helps the cleaver slide through food.I've seen reviews that say this cleaver isn't sharp out of the box. Well maybe they got a dud because mine is very sharp. I'm obsessed with sharp knives.I definitely recommend this cleaver if you're not afraid of big heavy knives.1/7/22I've had this cleaver for a couple of months now and I love it even more. It is my favorite and go to kitchen cutting implement. I don't even wait for it to get even slightly dull. I put a fresh edge on it after just a few uses. The wooden handle is very comfortable and the grip gets even better when it's wet. This thing will last many many years, especially if cared for.If you know someone that is an avid cook and want to get them a nice gift, this is it.

Very sharp knife, pricy
If you look from the front cross section view, the cutting edge is extremely thin for cleaver which means super sharp, easy to slice vegetable and meat. But it also means this knife is not for chopping anything hard, like bones. The side view of this knife may look pretty big and heavy. It is actually light because the thickness is very thin. The weight balance is very good because of the slim cross section. For anybody who prefers a light weight slicer, this is a very good choice. But it is not perfect. The spine and the sides are sharp instead of rounded to prevent cutting the fingers. Can tell the knife is not fully handcrafted. A little disappointed. As a daily tool, it is a decent knife and i don't expect to sharpen all the time because of high carbon cutting edge. It will stay ductile with a little flexibility because the cutting edge is wrapped up by softer steel on the outside layer. However, for $67, I expect Dengjia Knife to pay more attention to details.Overall, very good knife.

Sturdy and affordable
Working in a production kitchen I often have to tackle the low grade knives offered by my employer. While I'm allowed to bring in and use my own knives I don't want to have them ruined by others. This knife if great for all around basic work processing boneless meats and all manners of vegetables and fruits. It's easy to care for and with proper care has kept and excellent edge in months of heavy use. It's shorter than some other cleavers which I prefer and it's also a bit heavy which some people may be put off by.If you're looking for an affordable well built vegetable cleaver I'd recommend this.

One of the best selling knives in China!
This is one of the best selling knives in China. I'm happy to find it on Amazon. Its edge is very sharp, its handle is comfortable, and its has good weight balance. But please remember, it is NOT designed for chopping bones and frozen food. The 9Cr steel is prone to chipping.

This time, I bought the baby from this shop. This knife is very light and comfortable to use. The workmanship is very careful to prevent cutting fingers. Is worth to recommend

It’s a sharp cleaver but does not worth the money
It’s a sharp cleaver but does not worth the money, it comes out stains after couple days used, it’s not stainless steel.
