Amazzzzzzing!
Exactly what i remembered when I used it almost 13 years ago for my baby when i found it at a random target. So happy it hasn't changed. Smells delicious like old school strawberry shortcake dolls and scented my little pony. Super moisturizing and long lasting. 0 negatives! So glad the formula is the same!

The best
This is my favorite diaper ointment! Clears diaper rash over night, smells good, and goes on well. My daycare asked where I got it because they liked it so much too.

Go to for everything skin!
I love Grandma El's. Smells great, goes on great, and works! Our daughter has never had a diaper rash and we use this when we start to note a little redness in her bottom. By the next change, it's all gone. This is also one of the few diaper creams compatible with cloth diapers.Update 3/23/17:Been using this cream for four years now and wanted to update on a couple of things. Still prefer this product above all other creams.1. Price- yes it's more expensive than other creams but a tub goes a long way. In 4 years, I've only purchased 4 of these.2. Effectiveness - for minor redness this stuff works great and is effective within hours. For severe diaper rash, like any other product you have to lather this on like icing on cake. You have to put a lot so that the skin underneath gets a chance to heal without being exposed to the acidity of urine. If you do that, it will wipe out the rash but it will take a day or two much like other diaper rash creams.3. Eczema- my daughter has moderate eczema and I've tried every cream recommended but nothing seemed to moisturizer and protect her skin well enough. One day I notice an eczematous rash on her bum and decided to put grandma els on it. The next day her rash wasn't inflamed anymore and her skin felt and looked more moisturizer. This was the aha moment. I decided to buy a tub and use it specifically as moisturizer for the entire body and within a day, the dryness decreased, her skin felt moisturized, and the redness and itching went down significantly. Needless to say, I use this for her eczema now exclusively. It does make the skin look shiny but it wouldn't have been any different with Vaseline.Overall this is a great product with multiple uses for kids. I can imagine that this would also be great for sunburn and overall skin dryness.

Highly Sensitive Skin's Cure
I have been using this product for 3 months. My daughter has highly sensitive skin, causing us to cloth diaper (beyond the cost-effectiveness) that tends to rash up at the drop of a hat. Maximum strength Desitin used to be the only thing that worked on her blistering rashes, causing me to have to switch to disposables to keep my cloths from being attacked by fish old (and no I don't leave her to sit in a dirty diaper). Due to her allergies and highly sensitive skin, I was reluctant to try other diaper rash products on her, but took a chance on Grandma El's to avoid purchasing disposables every time she rashed. Grandma El's does not sting like Desitin does when applied to her painful rash, so diaper changes are MUCH more bearable for the poor thing. In 24 hours she goes from a blistering rash to the mere shadow of a rash. This product also works just fine in my cloth diapers (Sunbaby, Alvababy, BumGenius, Greenmountain prefolds and Bumkins prefolds). Grandma El's also works wonders on my 2 month old as well, who thus far does not have nearly as sensitive of skin and is able to have her random cases of diaper rash cleared up in 2 diaper changes (4 hours). It takes me about 2 months to get through this 3 oz container with diapering 2 children. For those having diaper build-up from this product it may be that you are applying too much of the product or that your diapers need to be stripped (recommended every 3-6 months depending on how hard your tap water is). After having tried many, many, many products to aid in diaper rash and not wanting to spend a fortune for a very small quantity of product, I am grateful to have found a cost-effective, cloth diaper safe product that works quickly on even the most sensitive skin. Thanks Grandma El's!
