GMC 2025 Seirra Elevation 5.3 Liter V8 short bed
I was skeptical purchase because no one really said it was for a 2025 in reviews. In short I am as happy with this as I can be with it on for 2 days so far. Fits like a glove. I have the carbon Pro lining, I have the multi tailgate, I have the assist handle. YES... It fit very well. Was surprised how well. Other reviews do mention the auto button tail gate won't work because it is snug. Hopefully over time it will, but haven't really a need for it and a great trade off. Drain plug was to large for the drain whole so I stretched tube out cut a "V" in it to put through hole and went under truck to pull it through. I did have light, as well, come through but had extra stripping from the front portion to cut and fix. Did not take long but I took my time before really tightening everything down so I knew I was a square as possible. Been on for 2 day so I can't validate how watertight but I am very happy and it looks AWSOME

Installed in less than an hour on 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 shortbed
I installed in less than an hour and all by myself. The instructions were a little difficult to follow. I'm hoping the pictures I included will help others. I used a rubber mallet to get the drain tube into the end of the rail. When installing the clamp at the front, I put the clamp between the front end and the clamp that holds the cover to the rail. Before tightening the bolt that holds the cover to the frame, I aligned the cover so that it was square on the bed. Don't move the cover until you have tightened the bolts. It also works with my assist bar. The multi-pro tailgate does not go down automatically because I have the cover tight against the top. So I just give the tailgate a little tug and it opens. The sides are very secure, but the latch release in the back can easily be opened if you have something flat that can slip between the tailgate and cover and be used to pull the cable.Update on this cover. After a few months, the hard rubber blocks that stick to the bottom of the cover (used when folding the cover up to keep it in the right position and from scratching) will not stay on. I think the summer heat softened the double stick tape. Also the rubber strip that is on each side rail has also come loose, the double stick tape again lost its stick. On a good note, it has not leaked yet.

Great cover, and some advice and thoughts to help others.
I disagree with a lot of the negative reviews in here. I’d give it five stars if the instructions were even remotely thought out or clear. I thought this product was the biggest bang for the buck, and price compared to many other “like” covers it holds up well. The instructions are horrible, I kept watching the video attached to this listing and even it was unclear. But…..you’ll figure it out. Takes about an hour, you’ll spend 20 or so minutes of that figuring out what goes where and what exactly is front and back, left and right and top and bottom. Once you know where to put the front and back braces on it goes pretty smooth. I would suggest tightening finger tight until it’s unrolled and everything is where it should be.A. You have to get the front as far forward as possible.B. Make sure it’s straight.C. Make sure the tailgate opens and closes smoothly.D. Move attached brackets so they aren’t right on top of the four brackets that attach rails to cover.E. Tighten everything up last after your forward, square and tailgate is unimpeded. This will ensure you won’t have to leave an unwarranted negative review.I would advise anyone that thinks any cover besides a one piece is waterproof that it will never happen. But if you look in here at Amazon and purchase a roll of foam weatherstripping to apply below the edges that you will come as close to it as possible. It should attach below the edges. 1/8-1/4 high and 1/2- 3/4 wide. 25’ roll leaves only a small amount of scrap.

Very good!
I ordered OEM from GM website for $1,200 but the sent me the wrong size so I took note about the quality and decided to order this instead of asking for a replacement from GM, this one is an OEM quality for 1/2 price, the fit is perfect and my 2024 Silverado looks great! Highly recommended!

Don’t Be Me
Accidents happen. No problem! I ordered the XCover and was extremely excited to get it in. Plan was to install it immediately. Opened the box and the first visible panel had a deep and concentrated dent in it. There was no need to pull it out because it was going back regardless. The Amazon return is simple. However, there is ZERO customer service from XCover. And by ZERO, I mean ZERO. I went to their website to reach out and see what could be done. At the very bottom of their website is an email. It’s the only means of communication listed. And it doesn’t work. I tried it three times. Returned to my inbox each time. Maybe their covers are worth it. Just understand that you are at the mercy of so many factors for it to work out. I can’t speak to the quality because I literally didn’t pull it out. I can speak to the train wreck of service they have. That’s not fair. A train wreck would imply that they put some effort into something and it went bad. That’s not the case. It’s ZERO. But feel free. Roll the dice. I crapped out. You do you. A shout out to Amazon who protects customers. Unfortunately it allows companies like XCover to do the things they do. Wait… once again. Not fair. They didn’t do anything. ZERO. So referring back to the title of this review… don’t be me. Hard pass on XCover.

Look up installation on Youtube
Fair price and fits perfect. Engineered quite well and the hardware is too. Installation, using the instructions are less than ideal and pictures, in some cases aren’t beneficial. I purchased 1/4”x1/4”x26’ foam stripping to reduce water intrusion. For drain, my 2024 GMC Sierra holes were not big enough for drain tubes, so I used an adapter hose & RTV to connect the two to avoid drilling bigger holes. The cover looks great and is sturdy. I gave it 5 stars because the quality for the price is worth it. If you use something like YouTube and not solely the instructions the average DIY can do this in less than 90 minutes. This is my first time, so I took my time. Now that I did it once, piece of cake the next. I would buy this again!
