Love this ball, my coworker & I got one just to have at work to keep us moving at our desk. The ring around the bottom provides tons of stability so you don’t roll off or fall backwards.

The ring arrived with a spilt in the seam and it won’t hold air. I contacted their customer support and they sent a new one! This is a sturdy ball and feels like it will hold up to exercising, but it’s not big enough to be a desk chair as it mentions. I’m 5’8” and this isn’t big enough for me sit on at a low desk, but it does fit under my desk nicely. The ring is nice and the exercise pulleys— the exercise given by them is also questionable tho. I thought it would be more effective.

Got this for pregnancy and labor— didn’t end up using it. VERY thick material, which would. Be great for exercise but it was tougher to use for comfort with pain. I don’t love that the stand is also inflatable. It takes 24 hours to let it sit after “half” inflating it then you deflate and then reinflate.. and even with my little electric pump it took awhile. Can’t imagine using the hand pump it came with. I’m sure it would be great for exercise and it seems durable once you can use it but that beginning process is a little much. I wish I could return it but I went into labor early and missed the window. 🙃

Update:Ok I was wrong. After a lot of talking to others someone figured how to get the plastic stopper out. She was able to find a tool. I came in one day and the ball was fully blown up. I apparently didn't blow it all the way up. I sit on it frequently now and I'm able to stretch my back. I have updated the stars and admit I was wrong. It is a good ball.I got a very small ball. The box says large 65 and that’s what I ordered. I have another of the size I ordered but this is way smaller. I can’t use it as my knees are in my chest. I can’t get the plug out either to deflate it. So I can’t return it. The ball itself is of good quality. But even the tape that came with it is larger. I can’t get anymore air in it. Not at all happy.

I rarely write reviews and I like Gaiam, but this one was a total disappointment!The hand pump is nearly useless and the air-locking system crap.As you try and pump up the ring & ball, air leaks out of the pump if you stop or are too slow. And while it somewhat worked in the end, when you go to stopper the air, there's no mechanism on/ over the hole to prevent the air from escaping (like a good air mattress)....You have to push a plastic pin into the hole.Hope you are faster than we were. It took 2-3 tries and two of us to do it fast enough.And, what I thought were supposed to be straps to hold onto for exercises, are wimpy paper-like strap thing, no handles, nothing really usable. Again, sadly useless.Additionally, the ball doesn't really fit in the ring if you get the smaller size. I am 5'2" and thought the smaller size recommended would be good. Truthfully, it's much smaller than I'd expected. I can use it for exercises, but could never have as a desk chair if that was my purpose.In short, while I am keeping it with hopes it'll work for me...I wouldn't buy this again if I'd seen it blown up.

My Physical therapist recommended I get an excersize ball. I've always like Giam products and I liked the idea of the inflatable ring. It holds my 220lb body with no effort. My 9 year old daughter loves using it as a chair too.

This ended up being a bummer purchase/waste of money. It loses air too quickly. I'm going to try to keep the base and use it with a better quality ball, although the base seems to be made of flimsy material.

What a replacement! I LOVE THIS! Always get the base, you won’t regret it!

There seems to be no way you can contact the company at all, it is the wrong size only 45 not 65 so completely useless with the ring that's ment to hold it in place as it just rolls around and that size is far too small for me anyway. The pump was useless and didn't work, would have liked a refund but no way to contact seller please help seller really disappointed it wasn't cheap either

Me encanta la infle menos por mi altura, yo mido 1.54 pero estoy embarazada y siempre espero que en mi posición sentada quede mi cadera sobre la altura de mis rodillas, la uso para yoga y para sentarme en home office, la compré más grande para poder compartirla con mi esposo, y me encanta para descansar de la sensación de cansancio de silla Cua do pasas mucho rato trabajando! Cumplió mucho mis expectativas, el color morado muy bonito se ve coqueto en el estudio, la base (anillo/ que trae para abajo es la onda por que así en momentos que no quieres que esté ruede y ruede se mantiene en su sitio.

Llegó correctamente en tiempo y en forma, pero hay que estar al pendiente del repartidor porque los entregan sin checar los datos correctamente a otros domicilios

There was little to no point for the pump that was included in the box, and was still completely useless for top-ups after it was fully inflated. I, initially, could not get the ball inflated to within 15cm of the specified diameter using the included pump - despite letting it sit for 24-hours & trying to pump it up further, allowing for stretching to occur. I had to order attachments for my bike pump to be able to get it fully inflated, which was really annoying. But, once it was fully inflated, it works great. I also really like the ring base that keeps it from rolling anywhere ... super usefully when you have to get up frequently when working on a project. My old ball would always end up rolling into my flat-mate/flat-mate's desk, which annoyed both of us. So, overall positive after the initial frustration.
