Pentair R111342 905 Aluminum Back Curved Brush with Blue Nylon Bristles, 24-Inch

In one sentence, if I had to: The last pool sweeper I bought was in 2000.In other words, it did its duty for 20 years. Not bad for the money. The new one is exactly the same brand, same shape, color, everything. I expect it to live just as long as the first. I use it every other day during pool season to sweep the floor and raise the dust that may have settled from vegetation and such, which then gets sucked into the bottom drain. I love it, as it is easy to use and way faster than a automated system. Much cheaper, too! I could not be happier!If you like my review, thanks for letting me know!

Not convinced it is a Pentair as the label says "Rainbow" so a knockoff ? but I needed a new brush and read other reviews about the 24 inch width being more efficient. It is too wide for the tight curved areas in our pool but for the long stretches it is great, I am able to brush with fewer passes now. Does not seem to require much more effort than the old 18 inch brush it replaces. For the curves I purchased a 360 brush that allows me to brush around the steps and rock features etc. Hope this holds up out in the sun as it lives outside in our strong Texas sun and heat.

We replastered our pool. I originally bought 2 cheap $10 pool brushes at Leslie’s, but they were exhausting to use. The guy helping me with our pool startup had one of these brushes, so I ordered this one for myself. This was a blessing because it was twice as wide as the cheap brushes and therefore half the work. It also was heavier and thus easier to control. Wish I had known this earlier in the process and purchased it ahead of the pool startup, but better late than never. During pool startup, we had to brush the pool twice a day for 3-4 weeks, and this brush really saved our old bodies and arms.

We wanted to order this pool brush from a reputable company such as Pentair. We expected this product to be made in the USA.

Funny, swapping out my older smaller standard Lowes brush for this one I realized how worn down it had become. The new brush is well made, sufficiently stiff bristles and being 6" longer than my last brush reduces my sweep time by a large margin. It doesn't say "Pentair" anywhere on it, only "Lifeguard" and the part numbers. Other sites with the same part numbers sell this as a Pentair brush as well so who knows. There is more mass to this brush so requires slightly more effort to move it through the water, especially if you have a tail attached. The one part it doesn't work well on at all is the very curvy parts of steps. The ends of the brush are slightly flared upwards but not enough to effectively clean these areas. All in all I'm happy.

I clean pools for a living and I used this brush today for the first time. I like it. It's sturdy and the bristles are soft but with a bit of firmness. I deal with sand as I live in Arizona, and this worked great. If you're looking for a big brush it's a good one. It's 24" across, so you may want a smaller brush if you're getting your first one. Price is great too!

Works great! This is truly a 24" brush. There was a discrepancy in the description once upon a time. Really cuts down on brush time.

Good brush. Could be a little a studier, but overall, does a good job.
