Graham & Brown 19911 Barbara Hulanicki Flock Skulls Flocked Wallpaper, Black

It is amazing. I have been wanting to makeover my office with this wallpaper for awhile and it hung up perfectly with wallpaper paste. There is a lot of waste as to get the skulls to line up perfectly.

I love love LOVE this wallpaper. It was the perfect addition to my vanity. I had my eye on it for a year and then finally decided to just go for it and buy it. Let me tell ya, if you don’t have patience and need to get the wallpaper around a mirror or anything else, it’s an absolute nightmare because of the pattern, but the end result is worth it. The paper is super thick, which is nice. I used a wallpaper glue to stick it on and the humidity from the shower hasn’t caused it to peel at all. Just note, because this wallpaper is flocked, when you run your hand or anything else over it you’ll have black little fuzzies all over the place, so be prepared for that. I was blowing out black fuzzies from my nose for a couple of days, so be sure to wear a mask to prevent that from happening.

I originally found this amazing wallpaper on the Graham & Brown website. It is the most phenomenal way to bring a Halloween background to life (okay…..they’re skeletons, so…..to death). I used it on panels in my “After-Life Diner” Halloween display this year to give an old-world feel, and used it as a background in my “What Scared You As A Child?” horror statue display on one side of that restaurant. Very good quality and an amazing 3-d texture.

I’ve wallpapered before using starch, but this paper is so thick and heavy I had to use normal wallpaper paste. The mnfr instructions were terrible, saying to just paste the wall. This didn’t work and the paper kept falling off, before I started saturating both the wall and paper. This method was finally successful, and I love how it turned out. It makes the whole space elegant and even reduces tv glare!
