truly deep cleaning
I little harder to use than a standard vacuum cleaner, but well worth the added effort. Rooms actually smell better after using, which proves it's doing a deep clean, plus the used water reveals how well it works. This was my 2nd one, as a gift to my son and his family. My first one is 4 years old and still looks and performs like new.

Works great at cleaning & a workout
Let me start out by saying that I started looking into a water filtration vacuum after seeing an inhouse demo of a Rainbow unit. I was impressed with the Rainbow features and what it did but OMG...the price was ridiculous ($3600). So here we are with a Sirena vacuum with all the attachments including ones the Rainbow unit was charging more for. After reading several reviews and taking note of the thing's folks had issues with, I decided to take the chance anyways. Trust me, I highly recommended reading full reviews even if they are lengthy, so you know what you are getting into.1. THE HOSE CLIPS: Many folks reviews stated that the hose clips that lock onto the base were breaking off, I can see where this could easily happen since they are plastic and don't look like they can take a lot of pressure. So, I find myself picking the base up a lot if I am moving it in a circular fashion or trying to pull it long distances. It does roll nicely across a carpet and thresholds but when it comes to putting pressure on one specific side of clips, I manually move it to hopefully avoid this from happening since what I hear getting warranty coverage can be a nightmare.2. THE HOSE: The hose is short and quite stiff so be ready to have a bit of work with that. I also find that clipping the power hose to the vacuum power head bar takes considerable pressure to get it f fully connect and when taking it off, you really have to pull hard at it to get it off, and yes, I am pressing down on the release.3. VACUUME POWER HEAD: This is the unit's part that I have the biggest complaint about. No matter what I do, the power head will not remain standing upright when the hose is connected to it. Anytime I have to change the water or anything causing me to stop holding the power head, I am forced to lay it flat otherwise it falls over and I don't want to risk breaking it or anything else not to mention a possible knock on the head. It does glide nicely across the floors and does get under things that are close to the floor with a little twisting and finesse of the handle.CONCLUSION: The unit all in all is decent and MUCH better priced than the Rainbow. I have used it several times now before I decided to review it and the water I dump out is becoming less gross. However, though I see the value and what this is doing for my carpets and for a cleaner place, using this vacuum reminds me a lot of using a carpet cleaner to clean carpets. This includes the ten minutes or so that I put in cleaning everything to like new condition after each use. I do recommend this if the Rainbow price makes you faint, but be ready, I find that it does give you a small workout.

So glad we bought this!!
I am so glad we bought this vaccuum! We started researching water vaccuums after watching a rainbow demo. We loved the concept but just could not stomach spending that much or having to impose on friends to get a reduced price. This looked very very similar for a fraction of the cost so we decided to give it a try. I love it so much! We got a completely disgusting amount of stuff out of our bedroom carpet (shown in picture) after just one go. I can see the amount lessening but it is still a lot even after two weeks of vacuuming almost every day! It came with lots of attachments. It’s a little tedious to have to swap out the hose for them from the main vaccuum but still worth it. I didn’t like the regular sweeper attachments for our hardwood but the power sweeper works great. The small head makes it super easy to maneuver around my bar stools and under the dining table. The canister part pulls really easy behind you as you move around the rooms. We’ve also used the round duster attachment and the upholstery one and they both work fantastically. There is such a dramatic difference in the suction of this vaccuum compared to our old canister vaccuum. We wash out and hand dry the water basin after we’re finished each time which is a little tedious, but also so much cleaner to work with than a nasty dusty canister that just holds crap that you can never get out. We’ve used the water canister as an air purifier as well and that works great to freshen the house. And we run the humidifiers constantly now. Definitely breathe better through the night with it on! My only complaint I think is that I don’t love the fragrances with come with it aside from the tropical and the deodorizer. Overall though, super impressed with this machine and so happy we made this purchase. It’s a big investment but I feel like totally worth it to have a much cleaner cleaning experience. We will give it a couple more months and probably purchase the carpet cleaner attachment as well.

Died after relatively sparse and light use.
TL:DR, not worth spending the money only to have it die after so few uses. Wish I hadn't bought it.I have severe allergies. I used to have to leave the house while someone vacuumed or I'd end up with an allergy and asthma attack that lasted hours. I wanted a Rainbow until I saw that I'd need a second mortgage to afford it, and then found the Sirena. I bought the whole kit and caboodle. I loved it for the couple of years we had it. I'd say all told, I only used it maybe 40x's. We had hardwood floors so I used a wet swiffer on those and my husband usually shook out our area rugs, so we only vacuumed a couple of times a month. Fast forward to this last 18 months, we've used it twice a month or so. Last time we used it, it just stopped and won't restart. There are no troubleshooting steps except for the "Push the little button inside the vacuum a few times" for this issue. In my opinion, it is heavy to lift, but smooth rolling. It won't last 20+ years like the Electrolux bag canister my mom gave me. If you have money to throw away, it's a great vacuum, when it works.
