I would like to return it. Nothing wrong with the book or the delivery! It’s just not what I was looking for. I was hoping it was a book on Santiverias, Snake Plants (Mother-in-law tongue). Thank you!

This is a beautiful book with beautiful pictures and great descriptions. You can tell that a lot of care went into creating this book. The pitfall for me is the star rating system that the book uses to cover ventilation, cold, light, and growth. It's confusing and you have to keep referring to the table of contents section of the book to see what the stars mean. If it wasn't for that, I would love this book. Unfortunately, I am still on the fence about keeping this book even as I write this review.

Ever wanted to start a plant from something you were given for Mother's Day or such? The writing is clear and the photos are excellent. For more info on the subject I will seek this author.

The book is a general overview of succulents and cactus, therefore not thorough. However, well written and well illustrated.

If you are looking for a book with great details, look elsewhere. This book has nice pictures of a wide range of succulents, mostly cacti. It gives a brief description of each succulent. There is a key for light shortage that explains what is meant by 1 star and 3 stars but not 2 stars even though it's used throughout the book. It's a nice book for beginners. For me it's just okay!

Loved the pictures. Wished it had more detail on how to take care of each different succulent but still a great beginner book.
