The 6L is overstated capacity but big enough
I bought this 6L capacity cleaner because I had a 3L before and it really wasn't big enough for anything but small very carburetors. The 6L can accommodate decent size carbs and I mean plural because you can clean 2 or 3 at once, depending on their size. That said, I did some measurements and the tub does not match the dimensions advertised, it comes in at 12.8"x5.9" at the top and is tapered toward the bottom with depth of 5.9". However, since it is not a perfect cuboid/block, it holds only 5.5L of liquid to the very top. The recommended fill line puts the useful capacity only at 4.5L. Now as for the basket, its measurements (averaged readings from both ends of each dimensions) come in at 25cm x 11.5cm x 8.8cm (for ease of calculating) which puts its volume at 2.5L.The supplied drain hose is nicely flexible and 30.75" long and it comes with a fitting to screw into the drain (ball) valve. Silly thing: while the drain valve utilizes the standard British NPT 3/8" threads, the plastic fitting has a metric pitch of 1.25mm/thread. (see picture)Having the drain valve on the unit is very useful given its capacity but once the tub is drained, it is best to dump any remaining few milliliters by flipping the cleaner upside down because the tub bottom is not sloped toward the drain and as such does not allow all the liquid to flow out perfectly .(see picture. Word of advice: it is best not to empty the tub perfectly by shaking every drop out (with the drain valve open) because only the tub is stainless, the drain is not. And it can rust after just one use. (see picture)I like the little stainless steel ball enclosure for small items but its size (just over an inch) does not allow too many items inside, maybe 1 ring or a few short screws or carb jets. I would have preferred a bigger one but since it was a nice extra surprise (not advertised in the listing), I am not complaining. The parts cleaner is powered by a 5ft standard grounded cord. The control panel is clearly labeled, allowing for operation without having the read the user manual every time. (Though the up/down buttons are reversed, as has become the norm with Chinese designs)The control panel digits are nicely bright to read even in direct sunlight and so are the ON indicators for the heater and sonic elements, even though that the indicators are visible only from a limited angle straight ahead. Buttons have a nice and crisp feeling and the panel beeps loudly with each press. The default temperature preset is 50°C and default (longest) time for cleaning is 30 minutes. It would be nice to see maybe 60, 90 or even 99 minutes. That would eliminate the necessity to have to come back and restart the cycle for another 1/2 hour. The heating element could be a little stronger, 50W takes a very long time to heat up a full load. Specifically, a tub full of water at room temperature takes a whole 1/2-hour cleaning cycle to get up to the default preset 50°C.As far as noise levels, they aren't high. Certainly louder than the 3L cleaner I had but acceptable and not really noticeable in a work shop with tools going. I like to hear the thing buzzing anyway because at least I know it's running. When it stops, even if I miss the two loud beeps, I will notice later that there is no noise and I know the parts are done.Overall, even though the advertised capacity is above the actual capacity, this cleaner can still accommodate plenty of parts.

Ultrasonic Cleaner 6L
Got this to clean gun parts and it works great. Then cleaned some jewelry works great. The heat setting works good also. Looks like i can clean about anything that will fit in this thing.Warning use caution with cleaners they could cause surface pitting to certain metals like aluminum for example. Also can cause damage to gun painted/Cerakot finishes. I say use a very weaker detergent with distilled water. For jewelry I used Dawn soap and distilled water worked excellent. For gun parts I used 50/50 Purple Power and distilled water i should use weaker ratio mix. It did a great job but damaged some of the Cerakot finish at a 50/50 solution.. Next time I'll use a weaker mix 30/70. I did use the heat setting at 50 degrees C.If you preheat the distilled water before filling the tank then it doesn't take near as long to come up to temperature.TIP: A warning make sure you fill the tank to the top of the basket so you don't burn up the Ultrasonic transducer.TIP: I put my items with detergent mix into zip-lock freezer bag and set it into the clean distilled water, this method keeps the dirty in the bag and then there is no after clean up of the Ultrasonic ben and you use a lot less detergant also. Then you can save and re-use the distilled water in the bin for next time around. Jewelry only took 10 minutes and my gun parts took about 20 to 30 minutes to get the baked on carbon off.Great little Ultrasonic cleaner that does a really good job. I recommend it.Update 3-9-2025Gun Suppressor cleaning, 1st one HUXWRX Flow 9K TI 3D printed Titanium2nr one, Rugged Alaskan 360, Titanium and Stainless SteelI tried Purple Power at a ratio of 50/50 to clean my gun suppressors ran it for 2 30 minute cycles at 50 C. temp. it removed alot of carbon but that was it they still looked really dirty and the PurplePower messed up the Cerakot finish on the Alaskan360..Next i used a quart Mason jar and stood up my Suppressors in the jar and added CLR at ratio of 100% and placed the jar in the Ultrasonic distilled water. Ran this at 50C water temp for a 90 minute cycle. MY suppressors came out like brand new totally clean of all carbon, lead and copper fouling deposits. Looked like new again and the CLR did not harm my Cerakot finish. Excellent!!!! My suppressors had 1200 to 1500 rounds thru them each. Nothing like new titanium clean suppressors to play with again! Great Vevor Ultrasonic cleaner

Noisy, but cleans well
I bought this to help me clean all the small and medium sized engine parts for my Mazda rotary engine rebuild. The 15L will fit one rotor on its side. It take a bit to preheat and when the ultrasonic cleaner function is on, its pretty umm, sonic. After the cycle the heater stays on so you need to go turn that off after the cleaning is done. I've used this with Super Clean and Simple Green Pro HD (the purple one, aluminum safe). The drain works fine for me and doesn't leak, although the hose kinks pretty easily.

High quality Ultrasonic cleaner
I love this ultrasonic cleaner. Its a good value for the money, but it's not perfect in every way. It's large enough to accommodate a bunch of gun parts at once and will get very hot if you need it to. The only real con for me is that the timer on the vibration function can only be set to a maximum of 30 minutes before you have to manually reset. Thats probably fine for jewelry and some metal parts, but for my firearm suppressors, I need it to run for at least a few hours to get the job done. This requires me to have to repeatedly go and manually increase the time. I'd prefer to set it and forget it. I've used it 3 times with good success. Time will tell if it will last long term, but it gets the job done. It's a little loud, especially with the lid on so the basement might be a good idea if it's going to distract you. Also, if you are using the heater function, keep an eye on the temps if you have an object that may be temp sensitive. It will get at least 10-15 degrees hotter than the set temperature if you keep the lid on. I would have thought it had a thermostat to regulate the temp, but I guess not.
