I lost some weight recently, leaving me with a wardrobe of pants that are all wayyy too big in the waist now (yet somehow they still fit my thighs and butt still haha).Considering the sheer amount of extra fabric around the waist/pelvic area, I didn't think these buttons would do much. HOWEVER, I was 100% WRONG- I used every button but one on all my pants because it helped reduce the extra fabric too!! And I did like the fact that there were both silver and bronze buttons to choose from- nice touch!Granted, I did put the buttons pretty close to the belt loop so I'd reduce the waist size by 2-3 inches and you can kind of tell the pants aren't centered anymore, but I personally don't care. If you don't try to make the waist as small as you can and simply take it in an inch, it wouldn't be noticable at all- only because I put the buttons so far is it noticable.Overall, BEST $4 a person can spend if they own even ONE pair of pants with a waist that's too big. Moving the waist in an inch or two can really make a HUGE improvement!!The best part? The buttons are SO easily removed, reusable, relocated, so you can experiment with the distance and move the buttons to different pants if youve used them all. Aka- it isn't a permanent thing, so there literally is nothing to worry about. So happy I don't have to buy all new jeans and pants!!

I saw a great review for this and bought this 8 pack immediately. Super easy to use and they have provided new usage for many jeans as I have a small waist and a larger backside. My husband took some for his high-end hiking pants which recently changed the grometed buttons to a cheaper sewed-on type. I still have 2 to use for other pants as I need them. Highly recommended!

Ngl it will stab your stomach if you use the original pants button and the pants are tight, but these buttons do work and don’t come undone in the washer or when using

I bought these for myself as I lost weight. However, as a teacher I have students come in wearing hand-me-down jeans that are too big on them. These buttons come in handy because I can give them to students that don’t have belts and have their pants falling down all day.

Some of these are difficult to use. Some are hard to pull apart or put back together, and some come apart too easily. With that said, there are a few in the batch that work great and i always bring an extra just in case one comes apart and falls out. Very practical and love having these on hand. They aren’t perfect but for the price they’re definitely worth the money for being able to save my favorite pants and shorts that have broken buttons!

Had some jeans and shorts that were a little too big in the waist but I still liked them, found these and the ingenuity amazed me! Now I can adjust my pants as often as I need to without any complicated sewing

These buttons have let me keep my size 10 jeans and capris as I transitioned to a size 8 and 6. They stay on through both wash and dry and haven’t faded in any way.

I was stoked about these cause I saw a YouTuber say they worked for her, however when I ordered them myself, it was well, disappointing. A waste of money. They look cute even, but not worth the purchase. I put one on as a test and while I was descending a hill on my way to the mall, it popped. Just like that. So now I’m on a hill and my pants are prone to fall. Fortunately nobody was present or looking so I just popped it back on, but imagine having to do that in a mall with plenty of people watching. Or imagine you’re just walking minding your business and people see something weird fall off your pants. It would look weird and be an extremely uncomfortable experience. I’m highly disappointed with them jean buttons cause I had high hopes for them. The one I wore to the mall made this weird flap on my pants, so if I wore let's say a bodysuit with those jeans instead of a straight zipped line, you would see a zipper curved at a weird angle. Not flattering in appearance. It also didn’t aid in holding my pants up. Fortunately the shirt I was wearing was long so it kind of covered up my pants disaster. My method of sewing the sides of pants works better cause at least the sides are secure. I don’t have to worry about them coming out, compared to these buttons. If your pants don’t fit well, I suggest tailoring them or sewing the sides in. These buttons were just not beneficial and as low of a success they were, I’m glad I tried them out cause now I know they do NOT work.
