Exceeded Expectations
UPDATE: I ordered these again because I lost the first pair and they looked and felt the same quality as before but as soon as you plug them in you hear the hissing/static noise in the background. doesnt go away but if you have media playing you obviously won't hear it. Also the mic quality is so bad, doesn't even compare to the first ones i bought. I guess it's a hit or miss when ordering these. These earbuds are pretty great for the price. The sound is good, not noise canceling or anything like my wireless ones that make outside noise sound a bit muffled. You can definitely hear things but the sound itself is good. The mic was what I really was looking forward to and I love how close it is to my mouth. So talking low or loud won't be a problem. I've tested it and it picks up whispers just fine. The length is fine, longer as per usual with wired earbuds. Wish it was a little shorter but other than that love that most of the cord is wrapped in that braided material. And has the "Samsung" embossed on the USB-C end.It didn't come in an official box just a little bag with Samsung on it.All in all a good product.

These are the earbuds that should have came with the s20!
I bought these used and I'm really glad I did! Could not tell at all that I bought them used... they look brand new and were packaged very well.I was apprehensive about buying these because I LOVE the earbuds that came with my S9 and was concerned these wouldn't sound nearly as good. However, they not only sound just as good, they sound BETTER! I can REALLY tell the difference in the sound quality between a direct USB link and an audio jack link. Best of all, these get a lot louder than any of my stereo earbuds EVER have. The bass is great, too, just like it was with the S9's earbuds. Just the right amount of bump without creating rattles everywhere or drowning out the mids.I'm not really sure why people are reporting that it isn't compatible with their S20, because I'm using an S20 without any issues. I'm guessing off the top of my head though that either the USB connector or phone plug (or both) either got grime or damage. This is why I hated that they got rid of the stereo jack! USB is more finicky and requires better upkeep and care than stereo does!Anyhow, the reviews saying it wasn't compatible made me nervous, but luckily my concerns were unfounded! 😁 I love my new earbuds! 👍 They are definitely worthy of being included with the phones! Same great quality and feel as ALL the Samsung earbuds that normally come with their phones have had. This is PRECISELY what I was looking for: I wanted the earbuds that should've came with the phone. These are IT! Thank you!

Trust me...
Mostly, I discount others' reviews as people just wanting to vent. However, for this product, headphones, I should have heeded their words. Like others who have reviewed this, I had my earphones for about a month before one side started to lose sound intermittently. Today, both stopped working. I use them several times a week with my cell phone, either for watching TV news streams while eating breakfast out, or while on an eliptical at the gym once or twice a week. As a 'senior citizen', I am conscientious and take care of my stuff. No kids or pets to mess things up.Very poor quality to fail so quickly. I thought the Samsung name for my Samsung phone would be worth the extra money. WRONG. Do not buy!

Not bad for the price
They sound OK. I use them for watching videos/shows at night so don't make a lot of noise. About 30-40 minutes and I notice they're hurting a bit. Not so much that they're unusable. I have a Samsung S21 with an OtterBox case and feel like I have to give it an extra push to get the headphones into the port on the bottom.

Just like what comes with the phone
Sound is good. I use them mostly for phone calls & playing video games (so I can tell direction). Equal to what you get with the phone when they used to give you headphones with your phone. Good value for the price. I even accidently washed them and once they dried out still worked fine. (I don't recommend doing that, but nice to know they survived in their carry case).

Makes up for my mistake.
My daughter needed to replace her earphones for her Note 20. Since my girlfriend has an S20, she figured she could give her hers, since I had a Samsung and never used mine. Little did we know my S10 takes a ⅜ plug, while the S20 uses a USB-C plug. Oops! Well, we're all better now with quality Samsung 'phones 😁

Not bad but..
Beware of the static shock in your ears whenever the cord rubs against a fabric. I'm surprised this product made it to market as is because it needs better insulation.
