Razer Ergonomic Wrist Rest for Full-Sized Keyboards - FRML Packaging

Ich habe diese Handballenauflage als Ersatz für meine BlackWidow Chroma V2 gekauft nachdem Razer keinen Ersatz mehr anbietet und mich deren Support auf diese hier verwiesen hat. Nun musste ich leider feststellen dass meine Tastatur scheinbar größer als ein hier angegebenes "Full Size Keyboard" ist. (Wie auch schon andere Rezensenten vor mir beschrieben haben, aber ich dachte nachdem selbst der Razer Support darauf verweist kann man‘s ja mal probieren…)Der Handballenauflage fehlen 2cm in der Länge und etwa 1,5cm in der Höhe zum „Original“ wodurch auch der Winkel vorn zu flach ausfällt und nicht mehr direkt an der Tastatur anliegt.Direkt nach dem Auspacken fiel mir außerdem auf das die Handballenauflage nicht ganz gerade, sondern etwas durchgebogen ist, ich schätze das würde sich im Laufe der Zeit noch bessern macht aber auch kein gutes Bild und verschlechtert zusätzlich die „Passform“.Dazu kommt das diese Handballenauflage, anders als meine der Chroma V2, keine Magnete zur Fixierung direkt an der Tastatur eingearbeitet hat. Was in diesem Fall nun ohnehin nicht weiter schlimm ist da sie ja generell zu klein ist, ist aber eventuell für manch anderen interessant.Abgesehen von der Inkompatibilität zu meiner Tastatur ist die Handballenauflage ganz Okay.Der Schaumstoff ist angenehm Fest und der Kunstlederbezug wirkt auf jeden Fall dicker und strammer übergezogen als noch jener meiner alten Handballenauflage.

Bought it as a replacement for my BlackWidow Chroma V2. It is 20mm shorter than the current wrist rest. It has no magnetic strip so it does not click to the keyboard so as the keyboard moves the wrist rest move around of its own and not in line with keyboard. Leatherette? More plastic than leather and not as good feel as the original. Hugely disappointing. Another indication that Razer market their goods well but do not really deliver a good user experience.

I bought the Razed wrist rest expecting quality. The product arrived and is nothing like the one shown in the photos.For a start, it’s flat and not angled slightly upwards at all as per the photos.The rubber feet are 6 cheap stuck on rubber pads that do not prevent the wrist rest from moving around the desk.The foam is also not memory foam. It’s cheaper foam you’d find in packaging. And the plastic surround is uncomfortable as the foam is so pathetic, your wrists just sink and rub against the plastic border.Returning this item. It is absolutely not worth the money. The HyperX has a better looking one with actual memory foam and cooling gel. The only downside is they don’t have a TKL sized one yet but that’s fine. It’s better than this!

Wrinkles appeared almost immediately after light use, which obviously isn’t functionally a problem but doesn’t look great, especially when aesthetics are usually why somebody would buy a product like this over a cheaper alternative.It’s also rather bendy and doesn’t feel very solid; the “cooling gel” is pleasant but it’s more of a gimmick than an actual reason to purchase this.In short it’s not terrible, but certainly not up to the standard I was expecting for the money.

Other than the soft cushion, this wrist rest is terrible. It continuously slides around and never sits in place making typing a nightmare. I bought this for my Razer Blackwidow V3 TKL to help support my wrists while working my 9 - 5 IT job but both products left my wrists and shoulders aching due to the bad ergonomics.Play it safe and buy a simple, low-depth keyboard too.This wrist rest felt overall cheap and not worth the money at all. Its only worth about £10 at most in my personal opinion.
