Toufayan Whole Wheat Smart Pockets Pita Bread | Naturallyy Vegan (3 Pack)

I have to limit the types of bread I can have and the size. The Toufayan sandwich size and quality. I can fill it with any type of sandwich meat, pimento cheese mix, egg salad or breakfast eggs with turkey bacon or sausage. It is perfect! I am single so this size works great. I just freeze and defrost what I want without loosing it's freshness and tastefullness. The three bags may seem expensive but not when you think of how many servings are in them and for someone who is single, that is a plus. As a diabetic, one sandwich pocket filled with a goody does not raise my blood sugar above what it should be. Thank you!

So I have tried quite a few different brands of pita flatbreads and pita pockets and I have to say these are the best ones I've tried so far. I love that they Are already cut for perfect sandwich size.. They also are not too thin so hold the ingredients quite well.. And must I say the flavor is amazing and they were so amazingly soft. I put it in the microwave for 15 seconds and it tastes like it just came from the bakery...perfection! Love that there only 90 calories...which make you fell not guilty eating them... absolutely love!!

What got me interested in trying them was I had seen a recipe for heart healthy pizza using whole wheat Pita bread. I couldn't find it locally. That was the first thing I made with some pieces of it. Worked out great. I am sure it will work good for sandwiches also. The only ding I give it is price and that isn't all on them. Shipping isn't inexpensive. Otherwise its really good Pita bread and low sodium is an added bonus.

I've been disappointed by store bought pitas lately. Now I will never buy those again. Ship time very good, product packaging nice and easy, freezer storage brilliant, and when you want one too easy to break in half to thaw. Oh yeah, they taste really good too! Now a dedicated customer.
