Excellent value for a quality product.
Slowly adding a little sprinkle of this to my dogs food after looking into how much calcium they were getting and coming up very short. This is a nice way to increase the natural calcium in their diet to help their bones and body age gracefully. I haven't noticed any odor or smell, and for the price, this is an excellent value. Container arrived sealed and packaged safely. My dogs haven't even acted like anything had changed. I'm crossing my fingers as my dogs are young, that this will give them better long term health and quality of life with a better balance to their meals.

My GSD Adult male and two new puppies are on Raw Bison Diet. They get raw bones EOD, but poor Truckee’s ears are having performance anxiety so I didn’t think the Dogzymes Calcium was doing the job. Switched to NB and believe the puppies tolerate the taste better. Shiloh continues to snub but he’s not ez to please. Truckee has one ear up! So, I believe it’s a better digested calcium for them. No odor that I detect, consistent texture and fine. I am reordering and will setup auto ship.

The real review will come when my pup gets old. At this point he is only a 6 months puppy. On the other hand the order arrived quickly, the powder is easy to measure and easy to mix with the home made dog food.

If Dogs could Talk!
I learned about Seaweed Calcium for Pets about 3.5 years ago from a You Tube video on making homemade dog food. The women was very informative and knowledgeable and advised this product a necessity when making your own food. She said to start slow and gradually increase the amount, and we did just that. I read a 1* review that said her dogs got instantly sick, must not have known how much to give :( Just wish our dogs would live forever and with homemade food and Dog Green's Seaweed Calcium, they just might! :)

Ingredients have changed--not the same product it was
We make our own dog food so we've ordered this product a couple of times and we were happy with it. However, the ingredients have now changed and we no longer trust this product, in part because the seller is claiming it's the same product that it was, even though the ingredients are different. It's now made from dehydrated seaweed meal and instead of being 1 teaspoon added to each 1.5 pounds of food, it's now 1 teaspoon for each pound of food, making it more expensive. Returns aren't allowed for this product but for the amount of money we spend via Amazon, I'm going to try to get a refund.If somebody finds a comparable product to what this item USED TO BE, I hope they'll post the name in one of their reviews.
