I was a bit disappointed when my faucet started leaking like crazy and it's only 2 years old, but it's been a great faucet otherwise, so I bought this replacement part on Amazon and it does the job. It fits like the original. It's a little different in design but perhaps it's improvement. Hopefully this will last longer. Price was reasonable and replacing it and fixing it myself was easy. Much better than calling a plumber.

Perfect fit

Used this for my outdoor hot and cold faucet where the insert cracked. Great price so I grabbed a spare in case this happens again. Great quality, easy install, happy with this product. Was only in the 20’s when this occurred, my fault forgetting to unhook the hose from faucet bib.

Perfect replacement part. This was an easy fix for water leaking out of the top of my woodford model 22 valve. Definitely replace this inexpensive part first before calling a plumber to replace the whole valve assembly.

The body of this device should be made of BRASS like the rest of the faucet. Made of plastic its simply another consumable you can expect to have to replace in a couple of years. Hopefully when it fails you'll be around to notice. I wasn't and lost a lot of water.
