I started using this product 30 years ago, and I still like this product. It deposits color, but it is not harsh on your hair. There is no bleach. I never understood why you would have to bleach your hair to apply a dark color on your naturally dark colored hair. I went through a phase where I gravitated toward a more expensive professional quality brand that required you to lift your hair to dye your hair a dark shade like black. I found that it was damaging my hair, and the lifting was not necessary. After two years of experimenting with the salon product, I went back to using Jazzing, which confirmed that lifting hair that is dark to apply a dark color is not necessary.I like to use this product two ways. Sometimes I will just apply and place a plastic bag on my hair and let it sit for an hour or two and then rinse out. This will provide me with a temporary color that will completely rinse out in a month or two. I normally do this if I am using a bright color like the Cherry, Grape or even Blue. If I want a more permanent color to last for 3 to six months, I will sit under a hair dryer for 30 minutes using medium heat. My hair color is a Mahogany Brown, and I have always dyed my hair Black because I did not like having Brown hair. After not using color for a few years, and getting used to my natural hair color, I decided to buy this Coffee Brown, which is a slightly darker shade of brown than my natural hair color. Overall, I think this brands deposits nice rich temporary color, and there is something in it that strengthens my natural hair and provides a nice shine. The product is economically priced, and you can obtain the same results that you would in a salon using a semi permanent color. I highly recommend this brand.

The package did not leak and nothing was wrong with it. I had to return it because I ordered the wrong color. I use to use this back in the day and it always gave a true rich color.

I use this product to cover my graying hair. It works great. The color looks natural and lasts for three hair washing cycles, afterwards the gray hair gets lighter brown color, still not white again but color fades. So far this is the best product I have found.

I used this product and I am for semi-permanent color. To do that I put it in my hair and wrap my hair and cellophane and then blow dry over it for about 15 minutes this locks the color in. I love this product I've used all different kinds of shades. Once I'm done blow drying I get in the shower and I rinse my hair until it rinses clean of any color and then I wash as normal sometimes I don't even wash it I just condition it with a deep conditioner. I'm giving this product five stars because I believe in this product it's never let me down. It even comes in a clear which is for shine enhancement and boy it really makes your hair shine. With this product I feel like I always get value for its cost. I highly recommend this product I'm giving it five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I customarily use a Clairol Natural Instincts semipermanent color. I like it because it washes out gradually and as it grows out, there isn't a sharp contrast at the root line. Well I decided to give this product a try. It was darker than my usual, it smells bad, and it's very difficult to find and read the directions. (You peel the label back, then you peel it into two layers and there's the English version hiding, but in very small type.) You need to have your own disposable gloves, they are not included. Finally I don't have a bonnet style hair dryer so to apply heat (per directions), I had to use a blow dryer and move it around, which was a nuisance. Not buying this again.

I've used the clear and followed instruction for both temp and semi perm. I use it because it imparts a little color,i.e. a yellowish pale, pale tone onto my gray hairs that blends and perks up my fading natural red hair - however - it absolutely does nothing to soften my hair and definitely does not add any shine or volume!!! NONE. I use it because I don't want the heavy color of dye and the color this imparts is enough to soften color of grays against the fading red in terms of color - very subtle color it adds. You can see if you rub a bit onto a white card, there is a slight warm cast to it. Odd because it is called 'clear' and supposed to have no color! Disappointed that there is NO conditioning for me; hair left limp ; NO volume ; and NO shine. just the subtle slight color added. - also received 2 different instruction - one says to rinse and the other says to shampoo after...I've shampooed..pale color not something I want to rub off on my pillows.
