One of the Best HG Kits!
I've built master grades and high grades, both have their shortcomings, especially around when they were originally made. This kit in particular hits it out of the park! It really feels more like a MG in a way, but it's a HG, so maybe more like a RG. In any case, it's a well detailed and articulate kit for being what it is, also very solid. The joints are nice and tight, so it can hold just about any pose you can imagine, no problem. You could shake it and rattle it and nothing would fall off. Well, maybe the beam sabers if you have them in the hands, but the body as a whole is solid. If you're not a fan of stickers (like myself), this only comes with one sticker for the eyes, but you can just as easily forgo it by simply coloring in around the eyes with a marker or paint like I did. Color separation it top notch and there's plenty of panel lines to give it plenty of detail and depth. I really hope Bandai and other Gundam kits follow suit with the processes that went into this kit for future kits going forward. It was a fun and unique build, it'd be great if this became the standard for HG going forward, at the very least. Definitely grab this one if you can, you won't regret it! 👍💯

Perfection.
The kit is HG perfection. Very unique and enjoyable build, extremely sturdy, god-tier levels of color separation, and that poseability...it's just and amazing kit. Pictures honestly don't do it justice. I was on the fence about the colors and proportions, but it looks amazing built up in person.I did have to give it 4 stars on value for money, only because it lacks the amount of accessories that usually cone with Grandaddy 79. You don't get a bazooka, or the amount of extra hands that you normally would. I wasn't personally bothered by it, but it is a thing to keep in mind.In closing, this is one of the few kits that feels just as amazing to fiddle around with in hand as it does on the shelf. It's a damn fine kit that I easily recomend to anybody in the hobby.

For those starting Gunpla
I built gunplas since I was five.Since the self-quarantine era of 2020, I have seen people get into gunpla building. In all honesty, I see a lot of people telling newbies to start with bigger models (Master Grades; 1/100 scale). However, I will have to disagree. If someone is interested in Gunpla, I want them to get hooked on this hobby. With that said, this kit is by far Bandai's best production of a beginner kit.Great proportion, great articulation, and great color separation. And what is nice, is that you can apply advance techniques to make it even better, This is the perfect kit to start practicing those advance techniques and appreciate the evolution of gunpla in general.

A pretty darn good kit
Like almost all the other reviews, I think this is a pretty great kit. The articulation and posability is great, the color separation is great - only stickers for the eyes. It comes with beam magnum, shield, two beam sabers with translucent pink effect pieces, two right hands for holding weapons, one left hand for holding shield, and one empty left hand.I do have a few minor nitpicks:1) I don't really like the colors. The red, blue, yellow, and grey are all desaturated, and the white is so off-white it's almost beige. I know the other HG RX-78-2 kits have brighter colors and I will probably like them more.2) There is a rotating joint just under the shoulder and it seems to come loose very easily. I can make it stay if I press it in hard, but that stops it from rotating freely. Not a huge deal and fairly easily fixable, but thought I should note it.Overall I think it's a great little kit. Enjoyed it quite a lot.

No need to paint this one.
Great kit, easy to assemble and because of the quality of the plastic, it rally doesn't need any painting. Although I do recommend panel lining.

Great model kit for the price
Great model kit for the price it’s easy to assemble but at some points you will get confused the articulation is great especially for a High grade it has the bare minimum of accessories but overall it’s a good kit and I’d recommend it over the revive

One of the best HG to come out.
A pretty solid kit. Arguably the best HG in terms of articulation and posability. The surface detail leaves something to be desired, but the color separation is great because all of the pieces you can see are separate molds, the only sticker on the kit is for the eyes. This kit doesn't use any polycaps. Overall, a great HG to succeed the Revive version.P.S. There's a decent amount of small plastic pieces on this kit, so if you're not planning on painting the kit, you might wanna glue those small pieces so they won't get lost. Mine are tightly secured, but this is just a heads up.

A good product
This product is very good. This is because it has no poly caps, its build is fun and strong, and it doesn't break if you accidentally drop it from your friend's second story( This happened to me nothing broke). Overall, this product is fun to build, is strong, doesn't break easily, and is fun to play with. I recommend this to everyone including new people getting into the hobby.
