Does this speaker have a phono preamp asbi want to use it dorect with a retro tecord player?

If it's a moving magnet cartridge then you'll probably be fine, but input sensitivity is 750mV so you could check your turntable specs to be sure. Worst case you could pick up a cheap head-amp. I have an old but decent Bluetooth DAC stuck to the back with Velcro and these speakers sound a lot better than I expected for the money

Can I use these speakers with a CD player?

These speakers have RCA (phono) line, coaxial and optical inputs so as long as your CD player has any of these outputs then yes.
