Full of ideas, a fun gift.
I was looking pretty much for what this turned out to be. It’s full of fun and thoughtful nature related and inspired ideas. You can use them in any order, working directly in the page, and there is a place to check off the pages you have completed. I gave it four starts due to the fact I would have preferred it be fewer pages, but larger sized pages, using better quality paper. The quality is not bad, it’s certainly usable but I would have preferred paper that lent itself to a more artistic feel and look, with a higher ragg content. I was really looking for an art journal that also incorporated ideas, as this does. This was the closest I could find for a reasonable price. Yes, higher ragg content is more expensive. With this and the other similar 365 days book youget a huge number of pages and ideas, and you can always use your own art paper. I wanted to work in a book. I was hoping this would help me learn to journal, which I have so far tried and yet failed to manage. It would make a great gift for someone artistic, from a teen and on up!.

My favorite
This is my Most fav art/drawing/art inspirational books Ever! Ever! I am a beginner artist and lack imagination (and skill) but this book not only inspires me but also opens my mind’s eye. The pages are not conducive to water colour though I have used both watercolour and gouache in the pages. I don’t soak my pages in general so other than minor buckling no biggie.Colour pencils lie beautifully on this paper. My student grade pencils work so well on it that I don’t bother with my Prismas.I also use water based markers (Tombow)My art books rating. This one is my fav. Followed by John Muir Laws Guide to Birds, LeeJAmes Drawing Animals (really step by step) Jenna Raineys Everyday Watercolur, Sarah Simons Watercolur workbook.

Great book to inspire you each day. For adults and middle school children
Great books to get an arty person on the move each day. I can hardly wait to give them to my daughters and Grandchildren for Christmas. Each page is different, the examples are not perfect but are there to urge you to do "your thing" not just copy the writers work. No intimidation here at all, just go for it and enjoy the results. Most fun!
