I cut my own hair and have done since before it was cool with lockdowns. These thinning scissors have been great. They are good value for money. I am not a barber and haven't cut anyone elses hair with them. However, for the average bloke looking to thin his hair you can't go wrong with these. They come nice and sharp, nicely weighted and pretty ergonomic. If you are a barber and looking to use these then I couldn't advise how they'd fair with heavy usage. I have cut my own hair 25+ times with these now and they are still spot on.

These are quality, well made, sharp scissors. My only quibble is that the blades are set too far apart, so they only cut really thick hair. This is a shame as otherwise they're great.I kept my old ones, so fall back on them once I have to thin hair out a bit more.

Excellent fit nicely in the hand too

I groom my dog at home in between visits to the groomers. For the price paid these scissors are great. They are very sharp compared to some other ones I bought off amazon for a similar price. My hairdresser friend was surprised at how little I paid. The thinners work really well, you do need to make sure you use them correctly though. Watch a video online before you do it. I think a few of the bad reviews on here might be from people not knowing how to use them properly. You have to make sure you open and close them very well, and not drag or pull them at all through the dogs hair. My dog has very fine hair being a poodle cross and these cut very well.

I bought these scissors during lock down to cut my dads and my husbands hair. Like other girls who became barbers overnight! These are great, easy to hold and cut with, very sharp (first time using I sliced my knuckle open... so back to the u-tube video to see how to avoid injuries!) pretty well priced compared to some scissors on Amazon. Would recommend.

I bought these scissors to give myself an at home hair cut, as they where a much better price compared to other brands. It was so easy to cut my hair using these, they are very sharp and comfortable to use, would definitely recommend.
